2nd time eating here. Drink machine had no carbonation. Dr pepper flat and syrup like. Same issue as first visit. Fries over cooked to a crisp. Bacon on the burger nearly broke a tooth. Was like biting into hard dried jerky. Staff never checked on us. Was hoping for a better experience from first visit but seems worse. Will not be back.

We drove up and parked in the back where it is spacious. When we walked in, we walked to the counter to order our food and drink. The menu is on paper and on a TV screen. I ordered a popi burger with avocado ($2 extra) with fries and a chocolate milkshake. They use real ice cream to make their milkshakes. After about 10 minutes, our food came out. It was hot and greasy. Very tasty burger. Ketchup, straws and napkins are available and you get them yourself. Lots of seating room for small and large parties. Food is served on a metal tray and when you're done, you clean up after yourself and drop off trays in a bucket. Very clean restaurant. Lots of investing stuff to look at inside. Bathrooms are very clean too.

Obviously a popular place — but REALLY?! We waited an hour for our food, the restaurant was freezing cold, and we had to wait after we ordered for a table. Obviously short-handed—who isn’t— but on a promoted weekend (Jan. 19-20), there’s no excuse. Ok food, but wasn’t worth the wait. And it was cold. Sorry… they could do better.

I wanted to like this place, but after an hour wait, and cold/overcooked food I just couldn’t. Understaffed, out of water and ketchup. Tater tots were decent but portions were small. Onion rings could have been great if they weren’t cold. Burger was super dry and bland. I just don’t understand not being better prepared for opening weekend when you KNOW it’s coming and there are limited places to eat in town. No way we should have waited an hour for a cold, dry burger.

Don't waste your hard earned money! When I commented on how expensive things were in Round Top, she said I was lucky because they hadn't jacked up the prices yet for the show. Apparently next week will be even more expensive. Probably would have still been less expensive to drive to La Grange and get a better burger and onion rings at Whataburger.

Burger was not dry, bacon was perfectly crispy. Our food sat at cook's window ledge for a while before being brought to us. I would not had mentioned this, if it was busy, but we were the only ones at the location.

Food was amazing, love the fresh veggies on my burger, even the pickles were super crunchy and thick not at all like your typical pickle in a jar! I had the bacon cheese and amazing! Thanks y’all!
