I love this Chicken Express. I will drive across town to come to the Rowlett location. I want to give a special shout out to Lisa at this location. She is fantastic! Always greeting me with a smile and knows what I want when I come through the drive-thru. I say give this woman a raise!!
Gave this place a shot earlier in the week and was not happy with the atmosphere. I walked in and greeted the cook, who was in the back, with a warm “Hello” and he gave me a look and proceeded to go about his day without acknowledging me. I then chose to eat else where simply because i didn’t feel welcomed. I had decided today, 01/3/2026, to give it another try and the staff here has certainly redeemed themselves. We haven’t been to chicken express for quite some time as we don’t have one in the town we live in. We were running errands and saw one in Rowlett and decided to stop by. We received our food pretty quickly! It was hot and fresh, Lisa was very friendly and hospitable! We will definitely return!
