Firts time been there and my last time our food was bad they served us spoiled beans and Pico meat was very chewy and everything tasted like out of a can lm sorry ?

Not very impressed with this restaurant. My wife and I came here for dinner during the week. We arrived at 5:30. The restaurant was very hot inside. I'm guessing 85 degrees inside. It was also very empty. There was maybe 30 tables and only 2 tables had occupied. There is a happy hour till 6pm, they have margaritas for $5. I asked for one the bartender/server/owner right off said no its too late. I had to remind him of the happy hour special. So he brought me a small 4oz glass of frozen margarita. It was tasty but not worth the money. I ordered chicken enchiladas with mole sauce. After 25 minutes he finally came back to our table with our food. I was served....Sour cream enchiladas! I told him immediately that that was not what I ordered. So he left. He left the plate at table. Then came back after 15 minutes with mole sauce in a small dish to pour on my sour cream enchiladas! What! Yuck ! That's not how this is supposed to be served. Im glad I didnt order beef enchiladas, I would have gotten a dish of ground beef to pour on my plate. I was very confused and now sweating and hungry. My wife and I hurried up at ate in silence. We were never seen till I had to get his attention for the bill. No compensation for being the wrong dish. We will not come back. The chairs are all taped up and worn out. The tape stuck to my shorts when I got up. This place needs more attentive service and a new ac unit. They have a great location, but this was a complete waste of money. I will go to Fish & Tails next time.

Place was almost empty for a Friday at lunch time. Chips were stale and served with small black bean dip and salsa. That was a bad sign of what was to be expected. Order came out wrong and waiter never came to check on us or refill our water. Food lacked flavor (salt). Much better tex mex places around Rowlett and this was not it.

Second time there and will most definitely be my last. Male waiter with a black beard definitely didn't want to do his job. Rude as h*ll. Slung the chips and salsa on the table. Acted like everything we were asking for was an inconvenience for him. Made faces when we asked for more salsa, didn't check in with us once, we had to look at him for him to come back to our table. He was sitting in the bar area on his phone majority of the time. Didn't offer extra napkins, didn't offer water. When we were ready to pay we had to go to the bar to get his attention to pay. Our bill was close to 50 bucks, gave him $2. Which was more than he deserved. Horrible service!!!!

This one is definitely a miss. After many years of living in Rowlett, we finally gave it a try. First impression...it's 5:30pm on a Wednesday night and there are only 2 families here. Wondering why. Then, the heat...I don't think they have central air. It was so hot and stuffy inside. They had fans and a blower at the entry but still so hot. They have one guy running the show. He's the host, server, bartender. But as empty as it was, makes sense. And he just wasn't very friendly. When we asked if there was a happy hour, he said it was over at 6:00. So we pointed out it was just 5:30. So my husband ordered a margarita. Next, the prices! I'm sorry, but when a standard Mexican plate is $15 and up, I want the restaurant to be comfortably cool and the service to be nice. My food was just average at best. My husband ordered the chicken enchilada plate with mole sauce. It came out with sour cream sauce. So he pointed it out to the server right away. To which he says, "oh, that's right. You keep the plate and I'll bring a little bowl of mole sauce" He didn't offer to remake it the right way. He wanted my husband to pour mole sauce over the sour cream sauce. Bleck! Not a good experience at all and can't recommend this restaurant. The two stars are strictly for the location.
Chips and salsa were good, but tiny portions, especially the salsa. I had the beef and chicken fajitas. It was served with two flour tortillas, really? Chicken was actually pretty good. Don't waste your time on the beef. Guacamole had no taste at all. My friend had the chicken nachos, and he was pleased his meal.

First time here and it will be the last. My son and his wife ordered chicken nachos and a side order of queso.They got beef nachos instead of chicken. The server said he would get them their chicken. It came out in a plate and the taste and smell was terrible. My son determined that the chicken must have been cooked on a dirty grill with some old oil. It was so bad they just put it aside and didn't eat any of it. My wife ordered a chicken taco salad and she said it was edible. The chicken was dry and tasteless. She said it was the worst taco salad she had ever eaten.

Once you walk in you are greeted with a signThat says please take a seat where you like which is great so you don’t wonder if they going to show you to a table or it’s open seating was greeted by male server bit hard to understand I spoke to him in English and Spanish over all seemed nice Now to the food I got chips and dip with salsa and a bean dip Chips tasted old and stale the dips weren’t the greatest I ordered and i was really impressed with how fast I got my food after ordering rice wasn’t good beans were okay and main course of the meal was a Chile relleno which was really good

We got the birria tacos!! Omg they were delsish! The margs were sooo good ! Ask for the tacos to be crispy tho because they were a bit soggy but so amazing and an easy fix! Must
