Food critic Wednesday well the food tasted great perfectly seasoned for tex mex the salsa was deliciousThe waitress was very nice but only seen 1 in the place it was not very busy but the guy at the bar was helping her out when she needed it was checked on often class kept refilled absolute pleasure eating here only down side was 2 reasons lighting is real dim and the deco is outdated.

Great food- we particularly like the fajitas and the queso flamiado.
The fajitas for one is easily enough for two people.
Prices are very fair.
It’s really fun to visit when there is live music, it really adds to the atmosphere and experience.

The last time I had gone to Pancho and Lefty's it was in the old Dickeys BBQ building. I basically gave up on them because the place didn't seem very clean! Last night my parents wanted to go eat here and omg I'm so glad we gave them another chance! The building was very clean, no flies, and most importantly...food was amazing and fresh! My dad had chicken nachos. ( he loved them) My mom and I had the enchiladas special $9.99 for 2 enchiladas of your choice and rice and beans! Everything was amazing! We will definitely be going back weekly! I promise if you had written this place off before, it's definitely worth giving them another try because this location is smaller and easier for them to maintain customer service and cleanliness! ( When I first tried to get in... I thought they were closed because the door was hard to open)

My favorite place in Rowlett to hang out after a hike in the nature preserve down the road. I love the fact that I can stop in and have a drink and a bite to eat in the afternoon with my service animal and we're greeted as friends ever time we walk in the door. Vegetarian options available, not a lot of alcohol available but it's more than made up for by the staff and patrons who make you feel like a friend. I'll continue to stop by every few days when I'm in town as long as the doors are open.

Too expensive for expired food my family got sick, not sure if we were served bad food on purpose but NEVER going back there, it's disgusting and over priced, everyone who ate has gotten sick if not vomiting, diarrhea, I tasted the beans first they were bad old so I didn't finish eating a waste of $50 nothing was tastefully authentic or fresh, our stomachs are messed up from what we tried off the plate, NEVER, EVER GOING BACK.... some places are not for me and my family and friends this is 1 of them, I will not recommend this place ever. I think we may have food poisoning feeling really bad after eating here, my stomach feels so bad its cramping really bad, im afraid to eat anything else as of 09/5/24 my stomach feels horrible. #HEALTH DEPARTMENT I saved the food because we all got sick it need to be tested..

Was really scared when I walked in !!! But pleasantly surprised, atmosphere was dark, waiter was scary.. Margaritas could have been better (we got top shelf, we have had way better, but have had worse) but when the food got there, our visit changed like crazy. I got carna asada, husband got enchiladas. Everything was piping hot and was amazing. Asked for medium cooked and they said they would try. You could cut it with your fork and fresh pico (you could smell it) husband loved enchiladas, we also got nachos ( pilled high, with meat, beans, and cheese). Food made a difference in this decision for dinner tonight !!!

We've had queso flameado many times, but it's never been brought out on fire! ??? That was cool and delicious! We had the fajitas, and there were also really good. Definitely recommend this place ? The waiter was attentive and (the owner or manager?) was also really nice.

How is this place still open. First time trying it and I got the taco salad. The chicken taste like it was cooked in water. The shell tastes like it was cooked in old grease. It feels dirty when you walk in the bathroom are nasty and smells like they sprayed roach spray in the bathroom.

Food was so bland except for the rice. Got two gray pieces of tough meat for carne asada. I am not a picky eater but this was bad. Took 3 bites and I couldn’t anymore. It was like they just pulled a frozen piece of meat out of freezer and threw it on a skillet with no seasoning. It was so unappealing and had the seeped meat juice film covering all of the ‘steak’.
Bathrooms are so old and not well kept at all. It reeked like roaches.

The food has been excellent. The service seems a bit more relaxed than other places. The environment seems to be more of a local bar hangout spot.
