My fiancé's friend was in town and she likes sushi and hibachi so we decided to go to Tokyo Hana. We were immediately seated but after ordering our drinks it took quite some time to receive our drinks and for a teppanyaki to come after we ordered our food. They were not busy so I was confused about the slow service and our server not very attentive. The hellfire sushi was great, the presentation could've been better. The last time we came to Tokyo Hana and ordered an entree it didn't come with noodles so that was weird and for the margarita 1/5 it was too sweet and didn't taste like any alcohol was in it. I was highly disappointed in last nights experience. This was a definite let down.

My husband and I tried this restaurant for the first time tonight. We were very pleasantly surprised. Food was amazing. The portions are huge. Service was excellent. Everyone was very friendly. Ambiance was very nice. We will definitely be going back.

We went yesterday to finally celebrate our Valentine's Day. We were treated really well. The food was delicious. Everything was great. The manager even came by and asked about our drinks and she had them remake my drink because it was way too strong. The reason why is because she asked how it was and I said a bit strong and then it was perfect. The desert was so delicious. We ordered the tempura ice cream.

Sushi was great. The two dinner entrees were just ok but lacked salt. It took so long to get our food. Then as soon as we got it they started closing up while we were still eating so lights were being turned off and people were cleaning around us. It took two different people for us to get the rice that came with our food. The first person said they forgot and proceeded to only bring one bowl to the table. Then the next waiter had the audacity to ask if we still wanted the additional rice, soup and salad that CAME WITH our food. Um DUH I want what I ordered. Who asks that? And also why would the first person only bring one order of rice? Was I supposed to share it? It took about ten minutes just to get the additional rice and salad. Then the waiter proceeded to only bring out one tiny bowl of soup that was halfway empty. I didn't even bother mentioning we were still missing one more soup. Overall it was a really bad experience. Especially since it was my first time. I paid for an item I never got and had to continuously ask for my food. Not worth it for the prices they charge. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME AND GO LITERALLY ANYWHERE ELSE!

Popular hibachi spot in Rowlett. You can sit at the hibachi table and watch the chefs show off their skills (routine but still entertaining) or opt for the bar or booth. The pineapple shrimp salad is one of my favorite side dishes that can be a full meal.

This place by far has the best food I've had eating hibachi. Lots of time it can be just okay but they season the food so well. I've been here 3 times and they didn't disappoint. I just think they can be a tad better organized for their pickup/take out, dinning and hibachi guest, they seem to still have issues when they have a full house in the entry way, not addresing how they can help you for those with reservation. The wait is way too long. Basically they need to address their host processes. We definitely will return in the end it's worth the wait.

Tokyo Hana offers an exceptional sushi dining experience for families and friends. The ambiance is serene, complemented by attentive and friendly staff. We came in after work and were greeted quickly and had a few drinks and some rolls. The sushi is amazing, they offered a while variety of flavors, and showcased the fresh ingredients used in each bite. Prices reflect the quality, and the experience is well worth it for any sushi lover. I highly recommend giving this place a visit if you ever get the want for some sushi.
