- Run down and old
- staff poor and incompetent
- Food not worth it
- Kitchen staff playing loud music that bleeds into dining area that is not family appropriate

The customers saying the food is good or that actually like the place are obviously old and don’t know what real food and quality is no real standards pathetic

A little slow service but food was great

THIS is diner food!! I got a burger and fries to go. This isn’t some paper thin, who knows what it actually is, kind of burger patty. This is a real, thick burger. And the fries were the perfect mix of grease and salt, with a side of house made ranch dressing. The kind of food that is romanticized in every tv show but this place made it taste incredible. I only wish I had also gotten a milkshake.

Our Welcome to the Local Business Blitz networking lunch at Burgers & Fries Diner was a fantastic experience! We had a large group, and the staff handled us with ease. The service was friendly, attentive, and we were checked on throughout the meal to make sure everyone had everything they needed.

The food was outstanding—everyone at the table thoroughly enjoyed their meals, and the burgers and fresh-cut curly fries definitely lived up to the hype. The restaurant was clean, welcoming, and had that classic hometown diner feel that makes you want to stay awhile.

We’re always looking for great local businesses to support, and Burgers & Fries absolutely delivered. We’ll definitely be back… next time to try breakfast! Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food, excellent service, and a true local gem.

Burgers & Fries Diner is the kind of local place that reminds you why hometown restaurants matter. Great food, friendly service, and that classic diner feel that makes you want to come back.

Their burgers and fries are exactly what you hope for from a place with this name, but the menu goes beyond that with breakfast and good country cooking too. You can tell this is a family owned and operated restaurant that has been serving the Royse City, Rockwall, and Quinlan area for years.

If you are near Royse City and want a real local diner with good food and a welcoming atmosphere, Burgers & Fries Diner is absolutely worth the stop.

A real diner! Real nice folks, plenty of parking. They even have cool Table top marketing for all the local businesses!

Real country food full of authenticity and a rustic diner feel. Affordable! I wouldn't change a thing.

This is my first time eating here. I live nearby and I didn't know what to think. The food is delicious. The staff is really nice and my food came out fast. I will definitely keep coming back.

If you want to see girls in booty shorts this is your place. If u want to be ignored. Come here!! Got our food and no silverware. Had to wait for silverware. No one brought the bill. Had to wave the girl down. Then dropped the bill, but didn't want to pick it up. Of course I had to take the bill to counter. Worst experience ever. Definitely will not be spending hard earned money there anymore.

First time. Saw a recommendation on Facebook and decided to make the 30 minute drive to Royce City from Garland to give them a try. We both had the cheeseburger with curly fries. Excellent meal. The hamburger was juicy with great flavor. Saw several plates with onion rings that had me drooling so next trip I plan to try them. Great experience. The restaurant was very busy but the staff was amazing. Highly recommend!

I've been coming here since I was a little kid riding up on my 3 wheeler, when Joann and Frankie first opened in a trailer, around 40 years ago. Such a regular, they gave me a nickname and a special named after me. They were really special ladies. Always has been good food, and good people.
