Terrible first experience. Ordered 40$ worth of breakfast to celebrate the new year i ordered 2x sirloin steak breakfasts and they sent me hamburger patties.... Not even close.....then the side of mushrooms was missing completely. I wanted to like them because they were a cheaper but better looking option. I understand you might be busy, i waited an hour for my food, but im still very disappointed.

Terrible first experience. I ordered 40$ worth of breakfast to celebrate the new year including 2x sirloin steak breakfasts and they sent me dry hamburger patties.... Not even close and the side of mushrooms was missing completely. I wanted to like them because they were a cheaper but better looking option and i needed a new staple. I understand you might be busy, i waited over an hour for my food, and if it's worth it that's cool, but im still very disappointed in the lack of attention placed on my order. Don't recommend.

Our family loves taking a break and enjoying food & people @ JR’s. The service is always friendly & fast.
Some will talk about it being older but that’s what we love about it!

Miriam, Natasha and Jenn are the best! The cook, (a short chubby guy) is a good cook. Me and my coworkers eat here every Friday morning!

Best breakfast in town!

Eggs are awesome and are cooked as ordered. Hash browns cooked right.
Only thing was the honey, it kinda tasted weird.

Very good breakfast items, but problems with burned liver&onions and French Dip sandwich using watered brown gravy as the "dip".

JR's is the place most locals go for good food at a good price. It's that 'hole in the wall' mom and pop type of café that serves breakfast and lunch only. The décor is what you'd expect from such a place with old furniture, pictures, newspaper clippings, etc... about the area. The staff is quick and efficient. Even when busy the food comes out surprisingly quick thanks to the wonderful cooks. The servers help each other to provide the best and quickest service. Definitely the best value and price in the area. The only issue with this place is the parking which is probably about 1/4 of the size they need so many people park along the street or in a nearby lot.

Dinner was lousy. Hamburger steak was just a burger patty fried to show leather then covered in onions and gravy. The big dinner roll was microwaved. I have eaten here many times but I will never return.

Man oh man do you miss these types of places. Welcoming environment, plenty of seating, kinda close in some areas but thats part of the charm.

Went on a Wednesday around 1200 to get breakfast. Service was fast, food was fresh and hot, coffe cup never ran dry.

Cant beat the prices, will take pics next time i go.
