One of the best classic American cafes in the area and a true gem on Saginaw Main Street. This place has been around forever and for good reason. The chicken fried steak is outstanding, the pancakes are some of the best I've had, and mom's meatloaf is a must-try. This is a great restaurant!! Great food, but the service needs some help, she dropped our food off and never checked back to ask how we’re doing. We ended up just going to the register to ask for drinks to-go. This was our waitress in the picture, please coach her.

I reached this café around 6:40 in the evening while waiting for a friend who was running late, so I decided to grab something small. The place had a steady crowd, mostly people chatting in low voices. I ordered a vanilla latte and a chicken wrap.
