The Alexander is one of our favorite places in Salado, but mostly because our favorite waitress, Clara, is there! The food is always amazing, the cocktails and wine list are incredible and the place, ambiance we love so much. We keep coming back!
Been there a few times. Always good. Had the Tuesday Prix Fixe special. As always it was well prepared. Service was friendly but there were some long-ish waits. We were seated outside, maybe they were slightly understaffed? Server was friendly and informative. Not perfect but we will certainly be back.
Alexander's never disappoints. The brussel sprouts are off the charts delicious. For anyone that doesn't really care for brussel sprouts, I believe you would enjoy these. They are that good. I had the Salmon and my husband had the ribeye. Melt in your mouth meals.
Food was incredible, lobster Mac and cheese was legit! The shrimp and grits were great as well! The spicy margarita was perfect! Great little find not too far off of I35! I’d come here again in a heartbeat! Third floor bar area was very cool!

We love this place. Every year for the past four years we have driven here from Waco to have dinner with our son who attends Baylor. It's been a lovely tradition. ???
I had been wanting to try this place for a long time and sadly was disappointed. You can't beat the view, but everything else falls short. The food was okay, and took a long time.
We went to Alexander’s last night and it was fabulous. We started with the baked Brie. I had the ribeye and my husband had the pork chop. Both were cooked perfectly. I had a Spicy Marg which was great. For dessert I had crème brûlée which is my favorite- I could like the bowl! Taylor, our waitress was so personable and on top of everything. I forgot pictures before we ate our entrees. I would highly recommend trying them out.

Our waitress was top notch. The food was delicious. The view overlooking the creek was lovely. We even witnessed a marriage proposal at the table next to us! Wonderful way to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary.
Our favorite place, food, atmosphere and most of all the service "Outstanding!"

It is always a lovely experience to dine at Alexanders. we had the fly and the chop salad and that was the best dinner I've had anywhere. I love the opportunity to have luxury dining in a relaxed atmosphere.
The good first: unbelievably good ribeye. The seasoning was absolutely perfect!! Also loved the peach colada cocktail and the chocolate mouse with kahlua sauce for desert. We were disappointed in the wait time for a food.. took nearly an hour and the place wasn't full . Then , some of the items like mashed potatoes were lukewarm, so that was a problem. They served us complimentary champagne (or prosecco?) to celebrate a birthday so that was an unexpected gift. Our guests were thrilled with the atmosphere outside too.. very beautiful!
We always love Alexander's. The food & service is consistently excellent. We adore Clara our server, had the pan seared tenderloin which is always perfection. Great way to celebrate our 54th anniversary! The whole staff is outstanding!
Food was delicious. Loved the atmosphere. Our server was phenomenal. There were two very loud parties there, one group of friends and a family with small children. We didn't really mind.
