Was shopping in Salado and wanted to try a local restaurant for lunch. The food was ok, nothing special. The vibe was homey. But the service was excellent. Good little place to get in and out quickly.
Pleasant little cafe in Salado, we waited a few minutes before we were provided menus, but we had our choice of breakfast or lunch. Food was decent, biscuit was fluffy. I had eggs with red potatoes, onions, peppers and sausage.
Found this place by accident when I took a side by accident. Wife and tried the blackened tilapia and grilled turkey and cheese sandwich. Both were very good and the waitress was very friendly. Definitely will go again when passing through Salado.
