Food was good, setup was a bit awkward. Very hot on food side. No limes in bar area was odd but made do. Id go back.
The cook was wearing a black License plate T-shirt it said creator, he had no gloves & he was preparing food! He was also rubbing his nose & eating French fries & other food! The waitress was eating as well! Never washed hands or anything just steadily eating & then serving food. Disgusting! And I was really looking forward to trying this place, this was definitely a turn off!
Cook was in the back rubbing nose & eating & preparing food with his bare hands, the waitress was eating as well.

They have nothing but fatty foods
Great selection of craft beer and wine at a good price. Live music was enjoyable.

It was odd. You have to order in one part of the building and then go out and enter through a different door. Food was ok. Beer was good. The memorabilia was neat to buy.

I would describe Chupacabra as a place with restaurant prices, but fast food service and food. It's a beautiful little diner with a very Texan, U.S. vibe, which I love. The employees were very nice and respectful. After you order your food, you pay right away, not after you eat. This is also the time they ask you for a tip. I gave 15% figuring I'd risk it since they seemed nice. Not too much of a tip but not disrespectful. However, the most you get after the initial interaction is someone dropping your food off at the table. Though they call it out of a window, and we had to get our own food for one of the three meals we had. You also have to get your own drinks at a soda fountain. The food was good, but fast food good. You dont get plates. Our nachos came in a plastic container. The main food comes in plastic baskets. When you're done, you throw out your trash and place the basket on top. All of this is not a big deal at all, I just think the prices are a little high for what you get, and there's not really a reason to tip Since you pretty much do all the things a waiter would do. The sodas are all off brand and pure cain sugar, which I love, and it tasted amazing. However, if you prefer name brand, they have some bottled soda there as well. Overall, this is a really nice place to visit, just be ready to pay a little bit extra for the experience.
