The ppl at the table, person at the bar, and carry out all got drinks. I should of done the same. I ended up throwing my food away. The taco shells were cold but the inside was disagreable. I love food and the flavored rice off the shelves in HEB is way better, smells better. I always try to support small businesses and I hope they do well.

First let me say Tyler, the owner, has an awesome personality. Second, the food was on point! He had the carnitas tacos with pineapple and hot sauce and , the carnitas with the jalepeno, the “del mar” were Ah- mazing! I have yet to be disappointed at this establishment!

Great small local bar atmosphere with cool decor touches. Lucy’s Icehouse is all about being laid-back bar that serves seriously good food. Nachos, service, tacos own the small menu, but you don’t need anything else other than your favorite beverage in hand to plan already your next visit. What a great place to relax and hangout ...Our first time and our first stop on Main to check everything out in Salado and she made us feel like we were special...she found out we like Ahi and made her special Ahi nachos...great bartender and seems to be a culinary expert as well...she also has a food truck......cant wait to try it too..thank you for being so friendly and kind

My husband and I recently took a little trip to Salado. I always look to see if any new places have opened that we can try. I'm so glad I found Lucy's Icehouse!! The tacos we had were absolutely delicious, and my margaritas were excellent! The owner is lots of fun to talk with, and she really made our dining experience enjoyable. Several local customers were there, and I could tell they made a habit of eating at Lucy's. We had a great experience and will be back! Just wish we lived closer!

My husband and I occupy two seats at the bar EVERY Thursday evening. Why? Because this place rocks! Food, drinks, attitude and all! We LOVE it. You definitely need to try it...just don't take our seats at the bar. : )

This is in response to the review by Marcie Wilson. On Saturday, July 13th, 2024, Lucy’s Icehouse was gracious enough to organize and hold an amazing benefit for a dear friend of mine that is in the midst of battling cancer. The event was well advertised and held from 4-8pm. Which I am sure Marcie would have been told when speaking to the owner at her prior visit.
Not only did Lucy’s Icehouse organize and host the benefit, they donated all the food and most of the drinks. ALL proceeds went to help my dear friend. There was an amazing turnout. The music was great, the food was exceptional, and the service was second to none! It was awesome to have to wait in the line that stretched out the door just to order!!! The support was mind blowing!
I am so thankful they sold out of food and drinks as this will all benefit someone that is in the fight of their life right now.
Marcie, I am sorry that you missed such an amazing time, but do hope you can show kindness and understanding to such an amazing establishment. I know, I for one, will now be a customer for life!!!
