It’s impossible to understand anyone. You would think this was in a third world country. None of the employees are educated and it shows.

I was extremely disappointed in my experience at the sonic in Salado. I tried to order a junior breakfast burrito and was told they no longer make those although I can get one at any other sonic in central Texas. So I changed my order to a croissant sandwich with sausage And I ordered a supersonic burrito for my son. In addition, I ordered two hot coffees. The food was served by the carhop very quickly (not a sign that the food was fresh) along with the coffees and he left to get my change. When he returned with my change he kept he brought me six dollars from my 20. while he was gone I checked the temperature of the coffee and it was barely warm, I asked him to report that to the kitchen manager and I left and went home, ate my not hot sandwich, nuked the coffee and my son had to totally rebuild his burrito and heat it up before he could eat it. The eggs were not mixed with the cheese and jalapeños and tomatoes as we’ve had in the past, and it was just slapped together. Basically it was terrible . The parking lot and sidewalks are dirty. The menu has dried sugary drink splashed on it. Very unappetizing. I as ready to get away from the place by the time I got my order. Sorry about the bad review but you need to improve some basic things.

The food is not cooked fresh. I ordered a number one and the entire burger was cold. Not warm or a little cool but actually cold. Head over to chupacabras and get a fresh HOT burger. I’ve had McDonalds that was better than this.

On my recent visit to the restaurant, my order was incorrect twice, and the same happened with my friend's order. Though my friend accepted the mistake due to the long time taken to correct my order, I was dissatisfied with the correction as it was not properly done. Initially, they served the wrong burger, and then despite my request, they added pickles to my food. In addition to this, my friend ordered a regular number one, but they served her a kid's burger and tried to justify it. She also requested no cherries on her milkshake, but unfortunately, there was a cherry. We carefully checked our receipts, and I hope this was a one-time issue. However, I don't plan on returning to the restaurant.

Placed an order online, picked it up and the whole order was wrong. The boy that delivered it to us argued about missing fries. And non of the burgers we got were correct. This place has gone way downhill over the past year or two.

Server was very rude when we told her we ordered a Number 1 and only got a burger, shrugged her shoulders… speaker was so bad we could not understand what the order taker was saying . When we told her we couldn’t the price appeared and that was it!! Burger was cold, server was very put out when I asked for mustard with the corn dog…

Possibly the slowest Sonic I’ve been to. From order to food in hand it took roughly 25 minutes. Quality was fine, and the people who came out to deliver were pleasant.

Matthew was nice, but the cooks were not on point they gave us old chicken and even tried to give us a tender on a regular chicken sandwich meal. Then, over cooked it, don't mention the onion rings. And what's up with the dirty aprons, and I'm not talking about Matthew's. Not one but 2 of the same meals purchased were wrong! The drinks suck the machine needs to be cleaned or something. Get it together. Gave it a 2 because an opportunity was presented to make it right, and it was still bad! But thanks for being sweet, Matthew.What more do you need to be explained? The experience was bad. Whoever is over this restaurant needs to hold themselves accountable for hiring people who don't give a damn. Food is bad! Dirty inside the building and the workers don't look clean! But they are handling people's food. The drink machines are probably filled with mold and bacteria the way the drinks taste. Look at all the reviews that are given. We are telling you what the problem is! The only reason it's probably still open is because it's along the highway in a decent location. But the services provided are not right. What's the point of having a person with good customer service but the food and terrible. Read the reviews! We are telling you what's going on. This place should be closed and cleaned with proper training. The people who just want a paycheck and don't care will mess up things for your business. Get some people who enjoy being at work. You all won't be happy until you get a lawsuit filed against you for food poisoning. Pay the employees right, treat them right, and I bet your business will change. Get rid of the people who don't care. Your business depends on others to run it. Get some people who care. It costs too much to get poor food quality and service. Clean it up!

I am not one to leave reviews unless there is a repeated issue. I try to be very understanding. The carhops and people taking orders are always nice and seem to be working hard. The speed of service is absolutely terrible, must be a managerial issue. Every single time we come we wait well over 20 minutes for someone to take our order and another 15-20 minutes for the food to get to us. I understand food service rushes and cooking food takes time, but this is the definition of a fast food restaurant it should not be a 40 minute wait. Shame on the manager for understaffing high school students or poorly training them.
