Best in town!
I don't usually write negative reviews, but I'm doing this in hopes that they fix this place and don't ruin people's opinion of gelato.
This is the most mid gelato I've had, and on the way home, I couldn't think of a single ice cream or gelato place I wouldn't rather go. The chocolate was flat and tasted like store bought hot cocoa mix, the tiramisu was sour for some reason, and the atmosphere was at best uncomfortable.
The flavors aren't calibrated properly, the affogatone was not done correctly, no shaping so I just got a tiny cup full of melted mess and was $8 down the drain.
This could be way better and I'm leaving this so other people don't get fooled.
If you want a really cool spot to stop and get a tasty but also historical treat, This is the place! So yummy and the way they make the gelato has been past down with old recipes and traditional ingredients. No chemicals or artificial flavors. Highly reccomend!
Always delicious, owner is a gregarious, knowledgeable craftsman. It is treat that my family always enjoys!!!
Such a sweet, charming place. Owner was helpful and very kind. Many flavors from which to choose. Delicious! Ate inside, but items can be to-go, also. Will definitely be back!
Must have authentic Italian gelati
The best gelato I've ever tasted.
All organic and nothing artificial.
The maple pecan praline, strawberry,
Original cream was unbelievably delicious.
It is only open on weekends so plan a weekend getaway to Salado.
Natural spring, great restaurants and great shops, too.
We had the dark chocolate, Mayan chocolate and hazelnut. The quality is amazing and definitely artisanal. We will be back!
Best ice cream in Texas. Our favorite family spot! Worth the longest drive every time!
As usual, we went to get gelato after Church. Today it wasn’t a good experience. The owner was extremely rude to my husband and I don’t appreciate the treatment he showed to a loyal customer for the last 5 years. Every time we have family visiting (basically every month) we always go to get Gelato. But not anymore. He has no right to treat customers like that. I know he doesn’t care much about it, for the way he acted today, but we are done with this place.

As a regular customer, we go to have Gelato after church on Sundays. This is our routine since we moved to the area 5 years ago. Today, it was a horrible experience with the owner. By mistake, I place the little spoon for testing in the wrong bucket and the owner showed his true colors. He treated me so bad that I'm still in shock. He lost loyal customer because of his bad temper. What a shame.
Stopped here after a morning in the river and LOVED it. Wonderful ingredients, unique flavors, and a fun atmosphere made this a fun staycation memory for our family.
Will not be back, I don’t need the owner chewing out my daughter because we had to leave.
Extremely rude. Worst customer service. Do not recommend going here, especially if you don’t want to spend a lot of time waiting in line.
Owner is super duper nice. Wish the gelato was better though
