One of the most legit Mexican restaurants I’ve been too. Salsa was on point, service was spectacular, and the food was some of the best I have ever had. 10/10 recommend!

I don't know what to say... they have a chip box in the covered porch area. Did not eat any of them. The state of the outside of the box did not look appealing.
Lunchtime is pretty busy, vut we were seated ASAP. The chips and salsa was fresh and our meal was delicious. We ordered the mixed fajitas, our friend ordered the poblano enchiladas (daily special.) The servers were were friendly and kept our drinks full. Looking forward to eating there again!

Came here on a date with friends, the parking is limited around the building is right off the street but across the street there is more parking, a small lot and tight but offers more space. The restaurant has two entrances, the main looking one and one off to the left of the front entrance, almost looks like another restaurant but they are the same. This place gets packed, almost every table was taken and the servers were doing their best to keep up. We were brought chips and salsa to start, and they took our drink order, in terms of alcohol they only offer beer. The soda mix is coke products. They took our order and we waited maybe 10 minutes and they brought it out piping hot. The food was OK, the enchilada sauce was delicious and the chili rellano was very tasty. The rice, beans and queso were ok. If I go back I would go to the other side of the restaurant seems less packed.

Found this place on our way to Lubbock. Growing up in El Paso, thier dishes are very close to what you would find in EPTX so I was very happy with the menu. Ordered the fajita enchiladas and the red sauce that is served over them is awesome. A little short on the beef but the rest of the dish is delicious. Make sure to get a chunk of the Oreo Tres Leches cake.
Armenta's Cafe serves up tasty Tex-Mex with generous portions and fast, friendly service. A local favorite worth checking out!

We had to see why the ratings are so high and it checks out. The food was amazing (the salsa perfect and spicy). What really made this perfect was the waitress and employees. It was incredibly busy and the waitress was not only kind, but doing an amazing job. She was respectful to customers, and the employees around her. She even knew some of the customers by name. This place while small, is packed with atmosphere and delicious food. I look forward to coming back. And the best part great prices!!!

Great lunch. Service was great and the food was authentic. This is real Mexican food not some Tex mex with nacho cheese over everything.
One suggestion. Offer some spicier salsa!!!! We like it mucho calliente!!!!
Only been there 2 times, what I ordered both times, were great The waitresses are awesome, Both times I ordered, the plate of food came out quick. I will certainly been returning.
