“Very good family run restaurant with a variety of Mexican/American choices. Prices were very reasonable and the owners were super friendly. We had a combo plate and the cheese enchiladas were exceptionally tasty. Always nice to find a great local place.”
“Got a small sliced brisket plate and unsweet tea. $13ish and worth every penny. Best brisket I’ve had. The beans, potato salad and banana pudding are perfect. Im going to say best bbq in Angelo.”
“We were in San Angelo a few weeks ago and really enjoyed this place. The beer was great and our bartender was super attentive. Just came to an Oktoberfest event in Weatherford and my hubby is enjoying their Plateau Oktoberfest as we speak.”
“So I've seen this advertise several times on Facebook. Pictures of the food looked excellent. I ordered pork carnitas tacos must say they were excellent! The service was very good could have been a little better that's the reason for a four-star on service. You can tell they have put a lot of work into their building. I have no doubt I'll be back to enjoy other meals. Friendly service and I do wish them well. Anxious to try other meals.”
“The two fellow young ladies that were working behind the counter were really beautiful and kind-hearted.Both Woman were sweet as could be and helped my boyfriend and I pick out drinks based off our drink preferences. Definitely wouldn't mind coming back here before relocating back overseas!!”

“We had Britni as our server and she was the BEST! She was very quick, funny, and accommodating to everything we asked for. Food was amazing and the entire staff was so friendly. Definitely ask for Britni!!”
“I was in town for business and found this place on Yelp. I saw the reviews and decided to give it a shot.....Let me say this if you are in town and spending 25 dollars for a large pizza from a chain instead of getting a pizza from here YOU ARE INSANE!! The staff was very friendly from the time they took my order on the phone to the time i picked up my order. This pizza is AWESOME and 13.50 for a large!? Come on you cannot beat that!! This pizza trumps the chains all day!! If there was anything for me to pick at and trust me it's nit pickin it's the ranch. I didn't like the ranch and honestly it took away from the pizza anyway! Check this place out, you won't be disappointed!!”
“I’m from south Texas and this is by far the best pork chop of my life! Amazing grill work, not overcooked, sauce was outstanding and presentation with garlic mash brought it home. Well done C&P! Austin Hope Cabernet was the perfect thread throughout our meal! Thanks so much!”

“Hello to all, my daughter and I were here today and Taylor and Nova ( I belive was their names) these two girls were beyond fantastic all the way around. ? Taylor was the cashier and my daughter didn't know what she wanted so Taylor definitely asked my daughter what she liked and with a smile. Taylor was patient. Definitely a 10 out 0f 10! Absolutely delicious food, drinks. We bought a lot. Definitely a must.!”
“Very cool local pizza place. It is in an old firehouse in downtown San Angelo. I had a Mediterranean pizza. It was very good. Tried a bite of a jalapeño pizza. It was good too. All pizzas look like they are 10" for a personal size, sharable. Interesting beer system that let's you pour your own and charge a card as you go.”
“Best bar in San Angelo, the crew is very friendly and welcoming. The beer is always cold and well priced. Location is ideal. Devin, Krista, and Rigel make the place feel like home. Thursday is can beer day and Friday/Saturday are always a good time.”
“Got a small sliced brisket plate and unsweet tea. $13ish and worth every penny. Best brisket I’ve had. The beans, potato salad and banana pudding are perfect. Im going to say best bbq in Angelo.”

“They serve great coffee and I really like their bagel selection. Their atmosphere is very good and it's easy to carry on a conversation, chill out, read a book, or just reset. I find them to be the town's best coffee shop.”
“I’m thrilled to have found locally roasted coffee! The coffee with turmeric and cinnamon is so good. I’ve never liked any flavored coffee before but this is my morning go to. I have gotten my best friend and mom hooked on it also. Their back patio is great and my dog loved his pup cup. I noticed Pinkies sells their coffee so super handy if you want to stock up on nighttime beverages and morning beverages at the same place.”

“Great brisket!Good sausage. Not dry.Beans and potato salad are really good.Don't need the bbq sauce, but it tastes good too.And the portion size was generous.”
“I can't believe I've never been here before. Where in the world have I been? I'll start by saying that the aroma walking into this place is by far so divine! It smelt so delicious that my eye balls went crisscross and my mouth drooled! I got their homemade pecan waffle cone with a scoop of the dreamy chocolate and a scoop of the roasted strawberry and let me tell you....it was a complete and utterly delightful treat! I will definitely be coming back for more! If you've never been, I highly recommend you go try it! You will not be disappointed! With so many flavors and options, I bet you'll create a delicious treat for yourself.”
“The Friendly atmosphere, the great drinks, but I have to say what I miss the most is not being able to go and play darts since someone took mine and my fiance darts also.. I really hope they enjoy them...”

“Great experience, delicious food, and attentive service! For a Saturday evening my wife and I only waited 5 minutes to be seated. Our waitress was patient and knowledgeable of the menu. My wife ordered the antelope (our first time trying it) and we throughly enjoyed it! Personally preferred it over my medium rare filet mignon. The portions were worthy. The old fashion smoked cocktail is beautifully presented! I will say, I do not recommend the pork skin (chicharrónes) appetizer. That was the only con on our visit.”
“This place is a complete vibe. It is rich with culture, authentic music, and really good food. It's not big in size, it's a cozy experience that packs a mighty punch when it comes to food and drinks. The service was top notch and timely. The chips and salsa flow freely. Something a little different from other restaurants is that the salsa is served really warm. I had the cheese enchiladas and the gravy on them was EVERYTHING. I ordered one beef enchilada,as a add on. I have to admit that it didn't quite stand up to the cheese ones. All in all, It is definitely a place you should give a try!”

He is very personable and makes sure to come out to dining room to check on everyone :-) His creme brulee is to die for!!! He has an amazing Valentine's day menu every year as well!! Be sure to check this place out if you are in San Angelo”
“My family and I have been to Chang Thai several times and have always experienced exceptional service and cuisine. The restaurant is family owned and operated and we love that music is always playing in the background. The owners daughter always great us with a smile and big hello when we enter the restaurant. It makes us feel so welcome. The waiting staff is always so friendly and quick to serve. The food is always fresh and absolutely delicious! On our most recent visit the owner came out to the dining area and gave my son chopsticks at his request. She began speaking to us and shared how impressed she was that my 9 year old uses chopsticks so well. She made a funny joke and we all laughed. She gave compliments to me and my children. The reason for my 5th Star is that the owner asked where my husband was (he did not join us this particular evening). I explained that he had just gotten into town from work and was feeling under the weather with an upper respiratory infection. Without skipping a beat she said, “Well wait right there…let me go get him some soup!” She came back shortly with a large container of clear soup. She had added some fresh ginger as well and she told me she hopes he feels better soon. Their clear soup-my family calls it “Liquid Gold”. It’s the perfect remedy when you’re feeling I’ll! This kind gesture made my day and meant so much to me. It’s the fact that she took the time to make conversation and connect with us on a personal level that made my heart melt. We will definitely be back to support this beautiful family and their restaurant! We love Chang Thai!Kid-friendliness: The owners daughter is so kind to my son. She compliments his cuteness. She owner herself also gave both of my children compliments and it makes your feel very loved as a customer.”
“Favorite San Angelo restaurant. The food is always excellent. The drinks are great and the service is top-notch. Our server Aidan was attentive, informative, and good fun. Can't wait to go back.”
“So authentic & good. Tortilla made some scratch daily & you can tell. I had Carne Asada steak & eggs with beans all for $16! Can’t beat that price for this quality of food! So good!”
“Nice place on the south end, old part of San Angelo. Very clean and well kept. If you like a leaning towards authentic Mexican food and some spice this is your place. Make sure and question waitress about intensity of heat! lol. They can tone it down for you!”
“Stop! Sour Cream Enchiladas on Fridays are sooooo good that you will want to linger, inside is clean, service was spectacular and personal, parking is 'in back'!Parking: maybe 12 spots in back, more on the exit side of the building!”
“I had the sushi and California roll obento, and they were good. My wife had the pork katsu obento, but sadly, the pork cutlet was overcooked and dry, without much flavor. I have found that Japanese style restaurants in America do not know how to cook katsudon properly.”
“It's like a dive bar with an identity crisis. It's just a dank cigarette smell away from being a dive, but actually a cool place to hang out with decent bar food. They have r pool tables, TVs and activities theough the week like bingo and trivia.”
“I cannot believe I’ve never eaten here before. If you’ve been meaning to stop in and try this place out…stop wasting your time and go! Everything we ordered was delicious. We got a quesadilla with birria for my kids and a quesabirria meal for me. The aguafresca was refreshing and the churros were delicious.I can’t wait to come back Tuesday for their all you can eat special!”

“The best Mexican-American Restaurant in town! My favorite plate is the chicken fried steak! You won’t be disappointed. The staff is amazing. Will be back soon ?”
“They have so many things to choose from it's hard to give you a full picture. I was in Oklahoma last week, and eat it Texas Roadhouse the one thing I can say for sure is there pretty consistent good food quality food good service and they have things that you don't see here that I can put down the option like red chili. The red chili bowl is real good little heavy on the cumin seasoning. All over it's a good place to eat decent price good meat and I'll bend over backwards to see that you're satisfied. San Angelo San Antonio Oklahoma the one in Tulsa City and most all that I've been to have been damnKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes”
“You gotta try for yourself! Food is great, drinks are great, atmosphere is super chill. My favorite place to go by far!Kid-friendliness: There’s an upper deck which I think is very appealing to the kiddos.”

“Just left the Huddle house here in San Angelo Texas and my server Joddie was the nicest and attentive person ever. Everything was brought to the table piping hot and the smell coming from the kitchen was amazing ???? and if you get there at night after 11pm ask for Sam, he'll definitely take good care of you too.”

There i handicap parking and restrooms.Kid-friendliness: Huge play area for the kiddos”

“We have been coming here since moving to San Angelo years ago! The food is always hot and delicious, the service is great and everyone is friendly. They also have the best white sauce in town too. I always get the horchata and it's always yummy. The chicken quesadillas, chicken fried steak, and enchiladas are my go too, but you can't go wrong with anything.”
“Henry's Mexican Restaurant in San Angelo lives up to its reputation as the pinnacle of Mexican cuisine. From the moment you step in, the inviting atmosphere sets the stage for a culinary experience like no other. Their fajitas are simply divine, bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. It's no wonder people travel hours just to indulge in Henry's offerings. A definite 10/10 recommendation for anyone craving authentic Mexican fare.”

“I ordered from a third party delivery app when I was craving boba drinks. The drink items were reasonably priced, tasted great, and well-packaged. Thank you to the staff for offering some great options. I will be visiting in person next time.”
“I ordered 4 jalapeno kalaches., 3 donuts, and a sausage egg and cheese crossing, feed my family if 4 for less than $25. Ignore the review that says he spent that much for one Kalaheo. There's no way! Service was great and friendly, good was good.”
“We had a group of six when we dined in at Zero One. Our server, Braden was phenomenal. He was attentive very and knowledgeable about the menu. He Braden provided the best service and continuously checked on us throughout our dining experience. The food was good and everyone enjoyed it, but the service from Braden made our experience exceptional.”
“We just had the pleasure of running into Edgar at Los Gallos Bakery and Restaurant. We wanted to try a couple of new pastries, and since we were unfamiliar with the menu, Edgar broke everything down for us. That was incredibly helpful, and we are so excited to go back and try their fresh tortillas and other foods next time. Highly recommend!”
“Simple, good food, fresh made. The pastries are fresh every morning. We stopped in for lunch and had a steak and a chicken fajita. Delicious fresh tortillas, made to order meat and veggies and a nice fresh salsa. The woman who helped us was nice and she made our lunch quickly. The atmosphere is simple and straightforward. No seating available, but the food is great!”

Señor Changs
“Senor Chang's offers efficient hibachi dining with quick service. For the best experience, consider visiting during lunch hours when the serving sizes and food quality are particularly noteworthy.”
“So authentic & good. Tortilla made some scratch daily & you can tell. I had Carne Asada steak & eggs with beans all for $16! Can’t beat that price for this quality of food! So good!”

“Great food, great price, and the new seating area gives the restaurant a nice feel... Definitely more than I expected when I drove by it a couple of times... The service is great as well, will be here for lunch as often as my pant size permits”
“How many brushes does it take to paint the grill marks on a chick fila grilled chicken nugget? 1...2 hoo... The world may never know. But I do know they make a mean and juicy chicken sandwich. Make it a spicy deluxe please.”
“Food is always great. Service was fast and efficient. Love that you can exchange your coleslaw for either another toast, more fries, or a cane sauce. Too bad female group behind us couldn't express how they felt in their conversation without using curse words the entire time. Other than that it was great!Parking: This place has always been hard finding a parking space during lunch. We have always had to park in the other restaurants parking spaces or circle around to see if anyone is leaving.”
“stumbled a 20 minute walk from downtown after a night of drinking. opened the front door and almost walked into the kitchen. ordered a double bacon cheeseburger with coke zero (i’m on a diet). i was disappointed that the worker did not skate out with my food but i guess with inflation these days that is too expensive.”
“As a restaurant owner, I highly recommend the tortillas from this tortilla factory located in San Angelo, Texas. They're a wholesaler serving the whole United States, and we've been using their tortillas in our restaurant for a while now. Their tortillas are always fresh and have an authentic flavor that our customers love. We appreciate their commitment to quality and their efficient delivery service. Whether you're a restaurant or a tortilla shop, this tortilla factory is definitely worth checking out.”
“When you’re hungry the place can be really good—-sometimes? We hadn’t eaten there in a good while and mostly I was shocked at their increased meal price. We are seniors and on a weekday a senior meal is 15.00 and if you care to have a glass of tea, then the tea will add 3 more bucks to your ”
“First timer, food hit the spot but I was morepleased with the friendliness and service I received. I will be back the next time I am in town. Keep up the good work.”

“Brian made us feel welcome even though they were 20 min to closing! We ordered Asada Fries, Tacos, Migas and Cheese Enchiladas! YUUUMM! Neither he, nor Julie, rushed us to eat quickly and gave us a back-story about Corner Stop from the '80s! Thank you Brian! We will be back to see y'all!”
“This is my go to place in San Angelo foe Chinese food carryout. It's pretty good as far as most places I tried. Sure does beat the regular run of the mill Chinese buffet type food for sure. Latest thing I had was the General Tso's Chicken and it was great. Always fast on orders too.”
“Drive through no inside dining, we got the Chicago dog and the junk junkyard dog. They were so good! We've also had the chili cheese fries which are also good. The prices did go up but are still cheap, prices range from a little over 2 dollars to 5 dollars. They do have burgers also.”
“I love Chick-fil-A. Everyone does and that's the only draw back . In my experience too many people trying to get into an already packed parking lot and over crowded dining room. Cars are trying to get in and getting stuck on a very busy major road. They need bigger parking lots and spaces.”
“The food was great and the employees were very generous and helpful,my niece accidentally threw up and the the guy cleaning the tables was quick to help clean up my I was going to clean up with my napkins and he said, I got it ma'am,it was not a problem to them, and we have gone out to eat and some of the watiers roll there eye on us, I give them a 10 on their services thank y'all very much, and Merry Christmas ?⛄”

“I do not live in San Angelo but I grew up there. My cousin took us to Rancho Grande because she said the lunch is soo good. We had breakfast because it was still early and nothing needed salt or seasoning. We lived it We do not like to have to put salsa all over the food to give it flavor, and this was not the case here. Absolutely loved it.Parking: Plenty of space.Kid-friendliness: There were kids there, families eating.”
“I love this bakery. Outstanding bakery goods, tortillas, and tamales on the weekends. The only downside is that it's a cash only place. Friendly staff. I never miss stopping here when in town.”
“You can smell the BBQ a block away! Tons of parking! One of the local 'go to' bbq spots in this little town. Mom and pop shop that does it right! BBQ was great! Tons of sides to go along with the BBQ too!”
“Favorite place to go to when I'm in town. Their Caldo de Pescado is one of the best caldos I've ever had. So much fresh authentic flavor.Parking: Parking spaces in front and small lot across the street. Parking spots aren't marked in the lot, they can be tricky getting in and out with the large trucks.”
“I hadn't been here in a while because the last time I came I ordered the sesame chicken, my friend order the orange chicken and both tasted salty and not sweet, it had no flavor. Very disappointing because I had come here on my lunch only to wait and not eat it once I tasted it, my friend ate hers because she was hungry and we had to head back to work with no time to pick up anything else. Fried rice was disappointing as well, it had no flavor. To top things off I ordered a Thai tea milk and it had so much ice and wasn't even filled to the top. I asked the server if i could get it with no ice or half ice and I was told the owner won't allow them to do it, and if I wanted it with no ice they'd have to charge me double, RIDICULOUS! So I paid 4 something for half a cup of milk tea, this place has really gone down. AGAIN I had tried ordering it throughout Door Dash and it tasted salty and flavorless. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT ESPECIALLY since you pay almost 20 dollars for the entree and the portion was HORRIBLE. Me and my friends use to enjoy this place and the food, it has changed so much the pho don't even taste the same, we won't be back.”
“We enjoyed delicious donuts while visiting San Angelo with so many choices of donuts and they even had some Yummy kolachs which I never had before tasty sausage rolls baked in light dough I highly recommend this shop to anyone who has a sweet tooth”

“Great menu selection. One of the best hot sandwiches i’ve ever had. Also loved how big and filling it was!!! And the chips were so delicious with it. Wish it was open all day long!! Also they made it super fast, we barely had to wait for our order.”
“Great Authentic Mexican food. The California burrito is greatThe tacos are good. Excellent salsaSuper fresh guacamole. Awesome great service. I highly recommend ?”

“You want closer to authentic, this is NOT A TEX-MEX wanna be Mexican restaurant like Henry’s. Great food, from Burritos to the many plates… everything we’ve had is delicious!”
“I have to say, the food here is great, it is still (years later) my new favorite restaurant. If you want to try something new, or have some Pho and a Thai Tea, try this place. I'll be back!
“What a pleasant surprise. Wife and I stopped in for lunch. We tried both samplers. I was thinking it was going to all taste the same. Not at all. Each pasta had a very distinct flavor. We are really looking forward to going back. Great food, the bread is also amazing. Our waitress Ella was very friendly and informative, left no question unanswered.”
“Passing through a city named San Angelo in Texas, if you were to stop at a diner called Pepe’s you would expect to find Really Good chips and salsa. The salsa served was 1 step below mediocre chips were unremarkable. Maybe expecting great salsa in the middle of February was unrealistic. The rest of the food was very good. Waitstaff is great.I’ll come back in August to try the salsa again.”

“So good, so good, so good!! Best Pad Thai in town, easily. It’s not even a competition between these guys and the other Asian restaurants except maybe one. I have never eaten in the restaurant but the staff welcomes me warmly every time I go pick up my food. Thank you Basil!??”

“This is probably this quietest Hooters I've been to. My only complaint is if you want more than two tall beers, the bartender has to get approval from a manager.”

“Great people! Great burritos! Great prices! Great selection! In and out, lickety split! Diego's for breakfast burritos is always a great choice! I would 100% recommend Diego's on Sherwood! Never a bad experience!”
“We came here for date night. Plenty of parking but it was busy. We walked in and there was a man playing live music and we waited a bit to be seated. Once we were seated we had to wait a bit to get our drinks ordered but they brought out chips and salsa and a white ranch style sauce. After we received our drinks they took our order and the food came out within a reasonable amount of time. The food tasted amazing, the beans had a nice touch of bacon flavor to them and the guac and queso tasted delicious. I ordered the fish tacos, good but missing coleslaw and my wife got the street tacos which she said were phenomenal. We also ordered a margarita which was also good. We will most likely be back because of how delicious everything tasted.”

“First visitSat in the bar area for dinner, the service was slow and not very friendly (but not rude, either).I ordered the Junior Steak, German Potatoes, & house salad with raspberry vinaigrette. The salad was some iceberg lettuce, 2 radish slices and a small tomato cut in half. Meh.The German Potatoes were good. Nice flavor. The steak was cooked perfectly (rare). The seasoning was missing something, but still good.I would eat here again.Parking: Dirt lot”
“They serve great coffee and I really like their bagel selection. Their atmosphere is very good and it's easy to carry on a conversation, chill out, read a book, or just reset. I find them to be the town's best coffee shop.”

“My husband took his employees and their wives out here for dinner a couple weeks ago. I thought it was delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly. “One of my best friends has Celiac Disease and cannot eat out very many places in San Angelo because not only does she need gluten free, she needs eateries that are avoiding cross-contamination of all gluten cooking surfaces (which is so rare to find ).It’s SO AWESOME that she doesn’t have to worry a lick about “getting glutened” at this place because the owner also has Celiacs and knows how to take it seriously. So even though this place originally started more for allergy-specific meal-prepping services, my bestie and I can come to Chelsea’s new storefront for lunch or dinner dates any time!Chelsea and Jodie are just the sweetest staff. Chelsea said “I’m not a chef, but I love to cook,” which is so apparent. She was telling us all about her upcoming food experiments that we can’t wait to try- like her GF/DF cookies in cream pie ? can’t wait to try it!For lunch we had this incredible beef spaghetti made with homemade marinara & alfredo, like what got so popular on TikTok. The two sauces combined was so good!!! And I loved having a healthy vegetable side of green beans. We had pie slices for dessert and the GF/DF coconut cream pie was so so yummy! While we were there, someone placed an online order for a GF, DF, AND sugar free pizza which looked amazing!Chelsea said her Chinese dishes are really popular and I can’t wait to come back to try! I feel like I need to try everything; I love the idea of an ever-changing menu! This is a rare concept in general, but especially in San Angelo. This little place, tucked away by the quilting corner in the Hobby Lobby parking lot, is such a sweet, safe place, not only to enjoy a diverse spectrum of healthy dishes, but for those with food allergies to find an empathetic community! Whether you have food allergies or not, this place is more than worth a try!”
“The cinnamon bun is amazing, my wife said the apple fritter is the best she's ever had, and the donuts are light and clean. The aftertaste is like what the taste of 'fresh' has to be, because it's so good and leaves you smiling. We even got some smoothies and they were fantastic! Smoothies had that same 'clean and fresh' taste.”
