First time we've been back since covid and find the food is as good as ever with very friendly staff. There is usually enough parking but you may need to look for it in the neighborhood.
We dont eat out much when home, but when we do, it is usually Jalapeno Locos. Service is great. Grilled catfish is a fav as well as the fried avocado salad. Their chips and salsa are the best. Salsa has good flavor but not crazy hot, and chips are thin and crispy. Street tacos and taco salad are really good as well. Husband loves the guisada. Great margaritas. Pleasant atmosphere.

This place is a complete vibe. It is rich with culture, authentic music, and really good food. It's not big in size, it's a cozy experience that packs a mighty punch when it comes to food and drinks. The service was top notch and timely. The chips and salsa flow freely. Something a little different from other restaurants is that the salsa is served really warm.
