Rosa's Café & Tortilla Factory is a restaurant located a few blocks away from some customers' home. It is a place where you order at the counter and receive your food in minutes. They are known for their variety of choices on the menu.
One customer recently visited Rosa's with their spouse, who was excited to have Mexican food as it had been a week since they last had it. They ordered the Beef Fajita Plate and the Combo Fajita Plate, which came with tender marinated beef and/or chicken over mesquite wood, served with bell peppers & onions, Mexican rice, refried beans (or black beans), and grilled jalapeno pepper & 3 made-in-house flour tortillas. They also had shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato salad, fresh guacamole & sour cream in a fried tortilla bowl.
The customer was impressed with the presentation of the platter, which had a lot of food. They described the jalapeno pepper as hot and the flour tortillas as puffy-fluffy, fresh-in-house, and very flavorful. They made huge tacos with all the goodies from the large plate, including the hot jalapeno. They found the beef & chicken fajitas to be tenderlicious with lots of flavor and all the sides to be awesomelyliciousness.
Another customer lives 2 hours away from Rosa's but always gets excited to have Rosa's fajitas when they come to San Angelo. They mentioned that the restaurant has a good selection of hot sauces and pico, and the service is always friendly. However, they had an issue with their order, but the restaurant corrected it and refunded the difference.
The food served was a Mexican dinner (taco and enchilada), but it was not what they ordered. They had a conversation about the type of taco they wanted (beef), and the taco was a standard prefab taco shell with ground beef. The cheese enchilada wasn't melted inside and the sopaipillas were very soft, not to their picky NM standard. They mentioned that the restaurant was busy and popular, and they might try the other location to see if the enchilada has melted cheese.
Overall, Rosa's Café & Tortilla Factory is a popular place for Mexican food with a variety of choices on the menu. Customers can expect friendly service, but there may be occasional issues with orders. However, the restaurant is willing to correct any mistakes and ensure customer satisfaction. The food is flavorful and plentiful, with fresh-in-house tortillas being a highlight of the meal.
