Best bakery around!! I needed to find some sugar free cupcakes for my dads birthday so I was calling around to different bakeries in the San angelo area and no one offers them.. So when I called Carters they informed me that they indeed make them fresh I was so excited. It was a last minuet order and they still managed to accommodate me, I was so thankful because I was ordering all the way from California. They had them delivered on my Dads birthday .. he was just over the Moon. Both of my parents couldn't believe they were sugar free.. THEY WERE DELICIOUS!!!! I just wanted to give the shop a huge thank you for such great customer service and for making these cupcakes so delicious..

Came here for lunch with my daughter. Very nice bakery! We had club sandwiches that were so big we probably should have shared one instead of getting our own. Everyone was friendly, greeted us and asked how we were doing. Will be back for more sweets and possibly a cake!

Cake was terrible! It was extremely dry. All of our guest nicely told us how dry it was. The cakes are decorated nicely but they taste bad. It was embarrassing to serve it to our guest. The day before our wedding reception we served HEB cake to our wedding party and everyone loved it. I highly don't recommend Carters Sugar Shop.

This is the best cake shop in town!!! everything we ordered was AMAZING!!! The cake was decorated beautifully and tasted amazing!! The cupcakes were great too!! Customer service is wonderful!! Everyone in the store is so nice, greeting everyone and making everyone feel welcome. They are so helpful in making your ideas come to life!!! The owner is the sweetest lady ever!! I couldn't have asked for a better cake, cupcakes, and pretzel rods for my daughter's birthday. I won't ever use anyone else!! They are my go to for all cakes and everything!! They have coffee, great drinks and the best food in town! Greta atmosphere and an adorable building!! Definitely the best place in town!!! Please go try it out you won't ever go anywhere else!!

Super cute cake shop!! I stopped bc I was recommend by a friend to taste their banana pudding! Glad I stopped. I love the building/decor and desserts! I picked up banana pudding, their dirt cake version and two unicorn cupcakes for my kids. They loved it! I'm giving it 4 stars only bc the girl checking us out didn't seem to know much about the items while I was asking questions.
I contacted Carter’s Sugar Shop to make cupcakes for my birthday, I sent a picture and was given these gorgeous cupcakes! I absolutely loved them! Putting in the order was easy and they even had the cupcakes ready before the agreed date! We agreed on May 19th and my mom had called and asked if she could have them ready the 16th for a surprise birthday dinner and Carter’s made it happen! Thank you so much Carter’s!

I went to go pick up my nephew's cake for his first birthday Saturday January 11th and was told they didn't have a cake for me. I was very disappointed because I booked a month in advance for someone just to forget and this was my first time ever order with Carter's. Even though the owner did everything she could to make it right by giving me cupcakes, brownies, and cookies none of that made up for the fact that we didn't have a birthday cake for his birthday.
