I ate here recently and it was outstanding. The fried frog legs were really tasty and the fries fish was great as well. My server Stevie was also very friendly and helpful! Overall a tremendous experience.

I asked for EXTRA well done catfish , but when you can bend it and touch ends , that's not even crispy . When I asked for more , and told her I wanted it crispier than the rocks in the parking lot , this was a little better . Not sure they know what crispy is . Guess I should of said crispier than the hush puppies . Then looked at my ticket , and there is a service fee ??? What is a service fee ? They said if you use debit card . But if you take that away from total , it doesn't add up . It doesn't matter , won't be going back . I was wondering why they aren't ever busy . Now I know . Don't waste your time . I hate to say that , because I use to love this place . Sad ?

Staff was very friendly. Our group was large and it showed with our waitress. She really struggled with the orders and tickets. Food was average. My catfish was lightly breaded and soft (I like a little crunch). Baked potato wasn't warm enough to make the butter melt, and the beans were undercooked and way under seasoned. The chicken strips and gravy were pretty good.

Carryout. The first person I encountered was very friendly and courteous. Wait was appropriate for my food. The restaurant was clean. But while waiting for my food, a waitress was cleaning tables, chairs and condiment containers. She cleaned everything with the same towel and didn't have a sanitizer bucket. I don't know Texas health codes . But I am visiting. But I am a retired Certified Chef,not that this has anything to do with the matter. But health codes do vary from state to state. I would rate the overall restaurant a7.5 out of ten. Service 9 , cleanliness , because there wasn't a sanitizer bucket 6 , food because I feel like the grease was not new or filtered for frying 6.5. However I did enjoy my meal . Two whole fish with sides, baked potatoes and cold slaw. Thanks. Bon Appétit ??

We had a great experience the staff was incredibly helpful and caring. The food was delicious. They were fast and accurate with our orders. Thank u for our great meal. And dessert, peach cobbler with ice cream was very good.
Food is great, servers are friendly, the only issues are the owners. They sit and watch to make sure no one shares food. They charge for styrofoam to go cups as well.
