Literally have never had a problem here before. Our waitress refused to bring my husband a to-go box because I had a piece and a half of fish left from my all you can eat fish plate. She took his food and boxed it up herself. What difference does it make if I eat the rest now or later. All that to say, the fish got wasted and left.
Again, have never had a problem before. Normally everyone is always super friendly. This specific waitress was not. She was almost upset that I wanted more fish when I ordered all you can eat. Kind of disappointed in Catfish Corner today :(

The best part of the delicious meal ( 3 piece fish, coleslaw, and fries) was Ms. Brownie, our waitress. She turned a regular lunch into a fun experience and she put up with our shenanigans.

Overall, a fairly good meal. I will definitely not go after one in the afternoon. The fish must have been under heat for a bit as the coating was a bit dry and tough. Usually it's fresh, light and crispy. The salad had pickle slices on top. I've not seen that before, but otherwise the salad was good and fresh and the Ranch dressing was tasty. The hush puppies are above average with a bit of jalapeno in them. The service was excellent. I will probably give them another go earlier in the day.

We use to be fairly frequent customers. We was not told loaded potato was priced extra. And by loaded they added to chives to tiny you couldn't see them and a tiny thimble cheese. Butter and sour cream on table. Fried shrimp was so crispy I think it was left over and refried. Grilled shrimp which is usually goood was not Grilled it was boiled with 5 lemon wedges. Not appealing. Owner must not have been around today. Won't be back.

So this is the second time the service has been less than desirable. The first time after the waitress brought out food we never saw her again. Could not get her attention and could not order more drinks. Tonight I ordered a beer dressed with extra lime. It arrived with a lemon and then I was told they don’t have limes. Who serves beer with no limes. Second I ordered the frog legs. I ended up getting the frog leg combo. Two frog legs short of what I ordered and with three fish I did not order. The waitress said sorry I have not been here very long. How hard is it to write down frog legs. I kept the order because it was a long day and I was just wanting to eat and go home. When I mentioned the poor service to the lady checking me out all she said was sorry. She was not the least bit concerned about what I was talking about. She asked no questions at all about my experience with the staff. We WILL NOT be back.

Service was good! Fried Pickles overly seasoned. Catfish mediocre. Hush puppies left off and didn't realize until 90% into our meal and they were served cold. My biggest frustration was the service fee added to your tab, for credit card usage. If I had paid cash I wonder if the cashier/owner would have removed the service fee. I wasn't asked when the ticket was provided if I was paying cash or charge. Thus the 3 star review. My first and last visit to Catfish Corner.

It was a busy time when we arrived but the restaurant is spacious and we were seated right away. Our waitress came right away and took our drink order. We got the fired pickles for an appetizer. They were a light golden brown with just the right amount of crunch. The coating was light and flavorful. We got catfish plates which came out shortly after the appetizer The fish was crisp and well seasoned butt at the same time flaky and tender. The onion rings were large , crispy, juicy, and delicious. They gave just the right amount of snap when you bite in. The plate was accompanied by coleslaw and hush puppies, neither of those were my personal favorite but everything else on the plate was great. The service was outstanding. We were able to get in and out during the lunch hour in under an hour.
