First time trying Thai food and I loved it! Came with my boyfriend, he got the Beef Pho and I got the steak fried rice. I don’t fault them at all for the wait, it was quite busy this Friday night and the food is made to order so I was okay waiting! Service was great and our server was so sweet and kind. Very accommodating to us, we’ll definitely be back soon! 🫶

We loved this place so much that our family came twice in the same day and we were only in San Angelo for one day! This was our first time trying Thai food and it was truly chef’s kiss. Every dish was flavorful, fresh, and made with so much care.
But what made the experience unforgettable was the people. The staff here are incredibly kind. They made us feel like we were coming back home. Warm smiles, genuine conversations, and hospitality you don’t forget.
If you’re looking for amazing food and a place that feels like home, Chang Thai is the spot. Wonderful food, wonderful people, and such an uplifting atmosphere. We’ll be back every time we’re in town.

Not enough for the price I paid 72 dollars for 2 lobster tails was crazy
I feel a bit guilty about giving 1 star so I gave 3. Food quality was embarrassing. Steam bun came straight from a freezer bag bought at Asian grocery and was obviously sitting in freezer for a while. They don’t have a swipe or tap for credit cards. Waitress didn’t know enough information about menu items. I was excited to enjoy and come back, but sadly this was a rare time when the google ratings deceived me.

I ordered the Beef Pad See Ew. It was okay. I waited almost an hour for my food to come out. My wife had hers out 15 minutes before mine (she enjoyed her dish). Apparently the kitchen was too busy cooking all of this food for a table already there that was already eating. I won't be going back due to a combination of okay food, bad service, and the distance I traveled to try this restaurant.

1st time in , and glad I picked this for my lunch spot today ! Peaceful setting, quick & awesome staff . The food, what to pick !? Any choice will be a great one for your taste buds ! I tried to pace myself with the bowl but hard to do when it's delicious! 10 / 10 recommend! Tho, if you have a mid sized group, make a reservation.
