The beans were watery, and the tortillas were tough. The owner should find a new hobby considering his kitchen is only open 3 hours a day.

They should change the name to Dicks Fernandez. I felt like the server thought he worked at Dicks.
Very rude. Only tables available were large due to no clean tables. Then says if a large group comes in you'll have to move. Then just throws the chips and salsa on table. Just an overwhelmed employee. Should not be server

The owner is the only thing that stops me from leaving 5 stars. I don't know if he's tired of doing the thing or just dislikes me, particularly. He often seems put out.

Guiso wasn't in the normal tomato gravy, and had so much fat I couldn't eat it. Wait staff was great, very attentive

Young man Jason Fernandez served with some fresh warm chips and the famous homemade salsa. I ordered the small chicken freid steak with two cheese enchiladas, which came with fresh cut french fries. I gotta say, probably the best chicken fried steak in town. An 8 oz chicken 🐔 fried steak covered in their uniquely spiced gravy. There was some overpour of the gravy onto one of the enchiladas. Initially, I was slightly unhappy about it. I'm one of those people who likes their foods to remain separate, but dang, something 🪄 magical✨️ takes place with the chicken fried steak gravy and the enchiladas sauce and cheese! I made sure to clean all the gravy and enchilada sauce off my plate with my French fries.
I've wanted to try this meal for quite some time, and it was even better than I expected.

Hands down, best Mexican food in San Angelo!
