Food had hair in it. Boss acted like it was nothing and still charged me. After yrs of going there i wont be back.

Wow! How has this been my first visit to this wonderful place? It's such a great feeling when you are pleasantly surprised! Upon walking in I noticed the dining room was fairly busy which can be great, maybe the place has excellent food or it can be a bummer that you could be waiting forever for your food. My experience lined up with the first option! I had lunch here with a close friend and we had the greatest server ever! She was basically running the place and had no problem doing it. She gave us great suggestions from the menu and our food arrived quickly. I ordered the meatloaf along with the servers suggestion of mac and cheese and green beans. Everything on my plate was absolutely delicious! My friend ordered a sandwich and she loved hers as well. What was amazing is that the dessert, buttermilk pie was the best I've ever had in my life! We had a great lunch and I will be returning as soon as I can. I highly recommend the mesquite being cafe.

Consistently a really good place to eat. The food is always very good and wait staff are friendly and helpful . The bread pudding is to die for!

Took a long time to recieve meal. May give them another try some day, but it won't be soon. Small place, should not run that behind.

Consumed contaminated food here that was not properly handled last week and gave me a parasite (diagnosed at urgent care) that has made me very sick ever since. I would never recommend anyone to eat here.
Also terrible service & exhaust from the kitchen filling the place.

Great service and reasonable prices!

The absolute best crawfish i have ever had!!! i asked for it extra spicy and they did just that. I got there homemade dipping sauce for it and oh my!!! just fantastic not to mention the size of those crawfish were immaculate. The price may be higher then most but i’d get it again !! i’ve sent all my family there to try it after i got some !!!

No bacon, no ice, no change, rude server. Only in San Angelo.

Went here for the first time. Food was very good as well as prices. Nice atmosphere and location to enjoy the downtown. Next time in San Angelo, I am planning on going back.

Very good especially the chocolate chip cookies. Not the place for a fast meal. Plan to be there at least an hour.

I came here at 2 different times within a weeks time. 1st time my food was not great. I got the tilapia special and it had some sweet teriyaki sauce that wasn't specified on the menu and it was not good. Ruined the whole fish. I scraped it off but the taste was still there. I didn't want to reorder and wait for another coz I was hungry. The green beans had a real weird texture, almost slimy... might of been over cooked but the food came out at a decent time.
2nd time I went I thought I would give them another chance and order something else. We got there before lunch rush but our food never came out. We ordered right after another table and they recieved and finished their food while my daughter and I still waited for ours. I ordered a grilled chicken salad and she got half order of the frito pie for reference that we didn't order anything difficult or time consuming. We ended up leaving coz i honestly don't know if our order got lost or forgotten about but finally made it's way after we left to pay for our drinks.
We picked up something else on our way home. Kinda disappointed.
