Packsaddle Bar-B-Que

Everyone in our group of 8 ordered something different. All good food in general. I thought mine specifically was bland. So I added bbq sauce and that elevated my steak fingers. The gravy didn't do it for me. The service was continuous and excellent and the place was hopping as it was immediately after the church across the street let out. I think the brisket or the burger would be more my speed. The 2 in our group had them recommended them highly.

Sliced brisket was good with Mac and cheese . The fried pickles were not, extremely thin and not worth it. Hush puppies were good . The chicken fried steak was excellent.

Horrible experience. This place has hit bottom in my opinion. We did take out order. I got a chopped brisket sandwich which was served with a bag of chips. I got charged $10. The bun was cold. There was hardly any meat in it whereas they used to have plenty. When I took the bun out of the wrapper it felt empty. The onions were soggy and stuffed in a zip with the pickles. No BBQ sauce on the meat. Was majorly bland,cold and I paid $10 for a horrible so called sandwich. It's a shame this used to be the best in town and I won't be back. Shame on you for serving this. I could get better in the frozen food section of a grocery store. Over priced and horrible food. You are overpriced. To be fair, my husband's burger was ok.$28 for a double burger, a skimpy BBQ sandwich and 2 small bags of chips is ridiculous.

To go order for 2, no utensils, no napkins and this shit for cobbler. It's not even a full quart. You absolutely have to do better on a 75dollar order

I remember when it used to be amazing! Now it's just some bbq but nothing I couldn't do better at home. Sodas/teas were expensive. Kids at the mac and cheese and loved it. Waitress was nice- kinda felt rushed even though we were only 1 of 2 tables. I'll probably skip it next time in San Angelo. But if im craving bbq and since I stay close, it'll do.

It used to be good I spent almost $30 and it was delivered cold. The brown paper bag it arrived in was crumpled with grease spots all over it. I got 2 strands of soggy onion and no pickles. Will not order from here again.

The ribs and brisket taste like they were water bathed. Not my kind of BBQ
