Seafood boil on Friday nights. As good or better than Joe's Crab Shack. The people are incredibly nice and the food is cooked to order. Good home cooking. Ckn fried steak is always good

Went there with a party of 9. Service was great and the food was excellent. Most of the family had the catfish baskets and it was a lot of food and they said very tasty. I had the tejas burger and it was delicious.

I live in Houston, TX and was looking for a restaurant around San Angelo that could prepare a Thanksgiving dinner that I could pick up and take to my Mother. She is 90 and ill. Peppercorn Grill prepared the best Thanksgiving dinner that we have had in a long time. It was all homemade and delicious. I heard they had good food. I will eat there every time I come through San Angelo.

We'd been told how great the catfish was here...they were RIGHT!! Cornmeal crust on the fillets...not heavy or greasy, crisp and light!! I had the Cajun grilled catfish, it was delicious! Flaky, light and fresh! Delicious sides and a great ambiance. We will most definitely be back again!! Need to try the other yummy sounding items on the menu!

Spacious and clean seating. Friendly staff. Largely home-made cooking that's delicious. All breading is done in house, not out of a package. All I regret is not trying the fresh banana pudding as it was being bowled, and eating my entire plate of course...

Went to the peppercorn on Saturday July 23 at noon...we got seated I asked about the buffet...sadly they no longer do the buffet...one of the servers walked right past our table to the the people that walked in shortly after us...then walked passed our table again to wipe down the tables next to us...she looked at us the whole time out the corner of her eyes...I asked my mom if she wanted to go somewhere else....I heard the lady say under her btreath "OK"... clearly she didn't want to serve us....sad to know that prejudice is still alive in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA....

Food is good, but now sides and salad you get yourself. If you order from menu and not do Buffett it takes forever to get your food and meat portion are very small.

The restaurant is very casual and comfortable. I had the lunch buffet. That includes 3 meat choices, veggies, salad and desert. I understand that they were short handed today BUT while we were there they ran out of salad, one meat dish, several vegetables, and desert. These took awhile to replace. Also we were almost done eating by the time we got the rolls we requested. The buffet DOES NOT include a drink, so it was a $15+ lunch bill. A bit steep for what we actually got. On a brighter note the waitresses worked very hard to keep our drinks full!!
