Probably the best brisket in San Angelo. Fries were also hot and crispy. It's just a small room with some tables but the food is worth it.

Okay I have to share it here cause this is the only thing I ate yesterday so it has to be BBQ. I got food poisoning this morning from their food. They shared that they had a fire recently and were out of a couple things. That should have been my sign to not eat there. Also they were out of peach cobbler which was why I wanted to go it’s very good. But I got a two meat plate and the chicken had a weird taste and the ribs were DRY. I’ve had their brisket before and it was okay just salty and dry as well. This morning was not fun and basically emptied out any of the BBQ I ate I don’t need to go into details. Please check on your food don’t want you to get anyone else sick.

Good portions, bad food. Had the 3 meat plate. Ribs were dry, brisket was dry, chicken was dry. Okra was the best thing, kinda sad for a BBQ joint. And $3.11 for a bottle of water?! Come on now, please be real.

I wanted a chopped brisket sandwich, which came with two sides. It was excellent! Big sandwich, I got tator tots which had plenty! Tasted great! I highly recommend RJ's BBQ, they did right by me!

I normally go here twice a week once for the BBQ and the other time for the chicken well I went today for BBQ and the the service was great as always. The only issue i had was that the was no BBQ chicken and this was at 2pm today so instead of getting a 3 meat plate with chicken ribs and sausage I ended up getting the brisket and I requested moist brisket. Well I drive all the way home and finally ready to sit down and eat and once I opened my plate I was greeted with the most dry brisket I have ever had I paid over 24.00 for this plate and I expected way much better maybe this was a one time thing I hope and also I hope that they have more chicken available for us patrons. Running out of food at 2pm is not pleasing let alone any menu item.

Brisket is good. Little salty like it should be so temper with sauce if you need it. Sausage was even better. Love that toothy and moist. Excellent.

The ribs were extremely dry and inedible. The young lady at the register was really nice but the guy in the kitchen was not.
Enjoyed the Two meat plate, with brisket and ribs, potato salad, and beans. Just wow. Was a pricey visit, but the servings given on the plates were worth two meals. The cashier was kind and attentive.
