Amazing food and service. The parking lot is great and we were seated immediately. The hot pot is where it's at the spicy was pretty spicy but the shrimp and rib eye was the best meat. The veggies and sides were ok, the noodles, sauces and tofu were also a nice touch. The gyōza was delicious. Sad to see it close but it was truly amazing.

My first time being here with my fiance, we were welcomed warmly. True traditional Hot Pot style eating. It is sad to see they will be closing. I spoke to the manager, it's truly disheartening that a beautiful true to culture resturant is being brought down by conservitive mindsets. I hope they do come back, for they will forever have my business.

My husband and I love eating here! The hotpot and BBQ are always fantastic and we always recommend it to those we know! The servers are always so sweet and accommodating! We always split the spicy and mushroom soup in our hotpot!Ingredients are always fresh which we appreciate and the whole restaurant is always clean! Bathrooms are also super clean!Just be aware it is pricey! But well worth it for all you can eat!

I didn't even sit down to eat. Not clean at all, at all, at all!. I can't see how anyone can eat there when the seats are filthy and the restroom is the same. Walk through the door and there is paint peeling on your hand as you open it. It seats that are cloth look like someone urinated on them. The chairs were not wiped down and had food in them and the tables were not wiped down properly. Appearance is everything.

If you're new to this style of eating,be patient and excited. You WILL NOT be disappointed. Also, I highly recommend the fruit tea to drink and the house special dipping sauce.

I'm sooo excited about this place! After living in Japan for 3 years, when we discovered San Angelo had a Shabu Shabu restaurant, we knew we had to try it! We loved our experience! First of all.... You can't beat all you can eat! Especially at these prices. We felt it was very well priced for the amount we got. Also, we loved that they had an all you can eat sushi bar! AND! You could ask for any type of roll you wanted. We also opted to add the Korean bbq to our meal, and it was sooo good! Also, they had a buffet section- my husband loved the gyoza! My only complaint, is that the restaurant didn't feel super clean. If it was cleaner, it would be 5 stars from me.

We went when it was pretty slow. very affordable for unlimited food. We didn’t understand how the restaurant works but our server was very kind and polite for us. come here if you are very hungry because we thought we were hungry but quickly filled up. very excited to come back and try this again with more experience. This place definetly deserves more business.

First time enjoyer of the hot pot style. The vibes, atmosphere, food, and personnel were all top tier. It’s a big taste of Japan stored in a little building in Texas. As long as Shabu is in business it will continue to get mine! 10/10 will recommend.

This place was great! Glad to have found a solid shabu place out here, as a person coming from SoCal that's had a lot of hotpot lol. The service was fast and friendly, and they also let us know about the happy hour 20% off deal from 5-6pm when we called to make a dinner reservation for 15ppl, which they accommodated with no problem. You can choose just AYCE hotpot or add AYCE bbq for $5 extra per person. The dipping sauce bar actually had a lot of options! And the drinks like Thai tea etc are free refills as well. The selection on the buffet hot food/sushi/desserts is maybe more limited than what I'm used to seeing in Cali, but the meat and broths were good, which is what we came for anyway. Our server was really generous and took great care of us too. Personally I liked the shabu portion more than the bbq, but they still had some good options that my friends liked. We'll definitely be back!

I had heard about this place from friends and decided to check it out. The atmosphere was nice and the food was delicious. And our waitress, Tina was very sweet and attentive. Definitely going back with the kiddos.
