I’m going to be as fair and objective here as possible. I had a bad experience, but that doesn’t mean others will. First, I concede that I’m a picky eater. I’m a vegetarian. I don’t like meat. The menu is available online, and I looked at it before I went. I recognized there weren’t a lot of options for me. They have a kid’s menu, and I thought I would do what I do at most other restaurants that don’t have a lot of meatless options and order a grilled cheese off the kid’s menu. I understand it says 12 and under. Y’all need to know that they mean it. I didn’t even ask to speak to the manager, but he came to talk to me anyway…or I assume he was the manager. I actually didn’t ask. I was kind of embarrassed. Have y’all ever gotten in trouble with the manager for your order at a restaurant? Anyway, I’m a reasonable person. I was willing to change my order. I get it…I’m dining in their establishment, and they get to make the rules. The guy gave me a few vegetarian options from the adult menu. Things like mashed potatoes, cornbread, and they could make any of the salads without bacon and chicken. So I ordered a salad. Which was fine. But I was charged the full $17 for a salad that didn’t have chicken. They were generous with the walnuts, at least. Also, my friend said his broccoli was cold. If you’ve had a good experience here, I’m happy for you. If you’re like me and have certain dietary restrictions, this might not be the place. I genuinely appreciate the people who helped us where they could. And to the person who took my order…I’m really sorry if I got you in trouble for ordering the grilled cheese. Thank you for being kind and doing your best.

I love going to the grill. The food is always delicious. Recently, my friend and I had a wonderful birthday lunch. Evan, our waiter, did an excellent job. The Key Lime Pie was scrumptious! Chris, the new manager, was very friendly. It is one of my favorite restaurants in San Angelo, Texas.

Great atmosphere, great customer service. It was our first time at this place and it definitely will not be the last. We loved it!

The key lime cocktail is really yummy! We also enjoyed the happy hour appetizers like the nachos and chips and queso with guacamole. Our server, I believe his name is Lee, was not great. He kept forgetting about us. We had to go inside to ask for the water he never brought (yes, we asked him for some), and he still never brought it. We had to get it from someone else.

Our server, Valerie, was awesome. The food was excellent. This would have easily been a 5 star review, except... my wife saw a pineapple margarita on the menu, and asked if there was a virgin option(we don't drink).

She was brought a small(about a triple shot sized glass) of pineapple juice on ice with Tajin on the rim. My complaint is not what came in the glass, that was kind of expected. What irks me is that it cost EIGHT DOLLARS. The real drink WITH tequila in it from the menu was $6.50. My full sized glass of lemonade that took more effort to make was only 4.50.

I noticed this as I was leaving, and I said something about it to the hostess(who was holding the door open from the outside for us). I wasn't foul or disrespectful. Her response was a half smirk coupled with dead silence as she stepped back in and let the door swing closed behind her.

You could have served me the best meal of my life, and I'd still not be going back. I don't guess they are very dependent on repeat business. I stopped short of going back in and loudly voicing my thoughts. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and it wasn't worth the drama.

The food at The Grill is very good. I especially like their queso and Key Lime Martinis. The service inside is good, but outside, it is consistently slow and innatentive, although friendly. Happy Hour prices are good, otherwise prices are a bit high.

The food was absolutely amazing! We travel and eat out every week and rarely find a place where the food is exemplary. We had the steak salad and salmon. The queso and guacamole were also delicious. We will eat here again! The service was lacking a bit. The server was so busy that he was not able to serve us well. I think there were only two servers in the entire place but we saw employees running around doing other things. This place could use better service management.
