Best bar in San Angelo, the crew is very friendly and welcoming. The beer is always cold and well priced. Location is ideal. Devin, Krista, and Rigel make the place feel like home. Thursday is can beer day and Friday/Saturday are always a good time.

This was our first time visiting this establishment. There were over 20 kinds of beer, including ciders. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable about the products being served. They also have trivia and games available. We had a wonderful date night and will return!P.S. The ladies' room was very clean. That's a big plus in my book!

My husband and I happened on SoCo Taphouse while visiting San Angelo. We were so impressed with the outstanding service of the bartenders there, specifically Krista. They have an incredible selection of beer and were just so charming we feel like part of the family right off. We liked it so much, we ended up staying another night so we could go back. I highly recommend SoCo if you like friendly service, a good selection of beer, and a chill atmosphere with tons of friendly folks.
Local brewery/tap house. I was immediately welcomed by regulars. Everyone was very friendly and I can tell this is a place to take it easy, try some beer, and chat with someone new, if you so choose. I tried some of their beer and a couple, non-local options, including a mead. If you are adventurous, beer, socially, or otherwise, this place is for you.

We had a great time at SoCo while spending a night in San Angelo on a long road trip. They have a solid beer and cider selection with fun daily deals. On the Thursday we visited, their deal was reduced price on cans in their fridge and $1 off draft IPAs which I took full advantage of.The bartender and patrons were very friendly, and we posted up at a table in the back. We enjoyed some fierce games of uno (which I won every hand) and connect four (which we traded wins equally). We really liked this spot and will come back again next time we are in town.Also shout out for being a dog friendly establishment!

I absolutely love this place!!! It’s perfect. We come from out of town every few months and this place is a must. It feels like home. It’s so welcoming and the beer is great. I love that I can bring my dog here then go walk the river afterwards. It’s the perfect imperfect hole in the wall. For as long as I have to come to San Angelo I will come to SOCO.
