The whole experience tied together really well with the aesthetic decor, friendly service, and quality food. The prices for drinks and food well match the quality of both and hosting a great selection of drinks. The staff, especially Miss OC, was very attentive and did not disappoint. Will Definitely will be returning to visit soon!

I’ve been here 3 times. The first time was our best experience but still wasn’t amazing. We had bolognese pasta and the ribeye (i think) both were good but nothing too memorable. Second time I went with friends and got the tacos and they were “meh”.The 3rd time we went was probably our last time. We ordered sweet potato fries to start and those were the best part of our meal. My husband got the shrimp and grits and it had no flavor and lacked salt. I ordered the birria bowl. I asked them if I could get rice instead of ramen since I am sensitive to gluten. They gladly asked the kitchen if it could be done and they said they could. But the waitress says to me “I asked the kitchen and they said I guess we can” basically telling me they didn’t want to. It was something along those lines. So made me feel like an inconvenience. I worked in restaurants for 12 years, serving and bartending and I would never tell a customer that’s the reaction I got from the cooks even if it was. It was just a bit strange. Ok back to the birria bowl… they made it with rice which was nice but it was soooooo salty I couldn’t even eat it. It was so so so bad. I took as many bites as I could just so I wouldn’t be hungry anymore but it was terrible. Would not recommend. The atmosphere is cool and their cocktail menu is nice. If we come back we would only come for maybe an appetizer and a cocktail.

I've had mixed reviews about Urban Salt, however I had lunch with my granddaughter today and I must give it it's dues. We started off with the soup of the day, a very flavorful creamy chicken southwest soup. The soup had a great flavor profile. Lots of chicken to go with a very well balance heat/spice level. We both ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and it didn't disappoint. The service was spot on. Reminded me of big city dining.

If I could do 0 stars for the food I would. Tuna on the tuna nachos was old//dark// left out and did not taste good. When we received the scallop angel hair and surf and turf it reeked of food poisoning. Did not smell delicious, fresh, like normal seafood. It was such a strong unpleasant smell that was an instant turn off. Did not eat our meals- instantly let our server know which he was so helpful and did not charge us for our meals.EDIT: Edit to say- our meals were not remade because we did not want them to be remade. We chose to leave. They did comp our meals and we only paid for our alcoholic beverages and we did tip our waiter (it was not his fault). *Our waiter also mentioned that we were not the first to complain and send back the surf and turf meal that SAME day.***

The place was under staffed which may be why it wasn't as good this trip. Steak was not the best I've had either.

Paul is the man. Probably gonna ask him to be my best man. Shakes a mean cocktail and serves a nice tilapia pasta. Will be back before next Lent, for sure.

I had high expectations for the restaurant, heard good things,Started with no ice tea, where in Texas does a restaurant not have ice tea? Not hard to make, pretty easy to make, water glass was filthy, then no silverware, then my steak comes out rare instead of medium, I can deal with that pretty easy,I mean,it's steak.Got a bad cut of meat, lots of tendons, steak knife was very dull ,my butter knife was doing better, got another steak knife, desert was good.As I'm getting my check I noticed another couple getting their water, has ice in it,mine ,not so much.Overall a very disappointing experience.I hope it was a fluke.$100 and I should have had a better experience.
