1917 Restaurant

It is the best place to get pizza if you are in the hotel and want to come to this restaurant, they also serve breakfast here free in the morning from 7 to 10

I had their breakfast and it was quite good, I was the graduation kid at the hotel graduation party and I was pleased with this pizza for dinner as I got extra hungry and wanted something to munch down on before I left

I also was the person who went to prom here for East Central High School Senior 2025 Prom so it was really good here as well, lots of space

Lacy took our initial order. She was super friendly. Answered all our questions and gave some recommendations. My pulled chicken tacos had a small bone in it. Food is a little overpriced for what you get but that's most hotel restaurants. Kimberly was pretty rude when trying to order an extra meal we forgot before they closed for the night. Then took over an hour to get 1 meal.

Our meals were excellent! My wife had the grilled Brussels sprouts with chicken and quinoa bowl, and I had the Turkey burger with the best fries we have ever had anywhere! These items happened to be on the lunch specials menu, and we cannot get over the value of this food. Even apart from the value, the cuisine was top notch. This restaurant is nestled inside a newer Embassy Suites hotel in this area on the south side of San Antonio. We did not stay at this hotel, but we drove to the 1917 Restaurant based on recommendations my wife found on Pinterest. It did not disappoint, and we will likely return on our next trip to San Antonio!

The mahi mahi was to die for! Creamy, spicy, coconuty just exactly what I needed. Staff were friendly and attentive. Very crispy fries with dipping sauces. Everything came out really quick too.

Kid-friendliness: I wish they had cups with lids for the kids, we had an expected spill because our toddler gets a little excited with the drinks and all they had were regular glasses.

This is our third year to go for Thanksgiving and this will be my last most of the food was not fit to eat I got one plate and could only eat about half it tasted terrible could not eat it

Food was good, there was a hair in our pizza but they removed it from our ticket. Our server was very friendly and accommodating.

The salmon is my favorite, the sauce, the pistachio rice they just push it over the top. Large portions and excellent quality. The pizzas are good, the soups are amazing. Chicken and shrimp skillet is comfort. I've tried it all and have not been disappointed once.

Shrimp & Lobster Bisque - strangest, saltiest oddity

Came with a large group of family, and sadly, many were not satisfied with their meals. The service was really great. They were quick to help with anything we needed. Because we had a big party, we had to sit in the conference room, but that was ok because they let us hook the Switch up to the tv.
