Cute place. You could tell they have regulars, they were showing pictures to different waitress. Reminds me of a small town diner. We just got burgers but there are a couple things I'll go back and try.

Cool little diner with friendly service and a really cool atmosphere. We both had burgers and fries. They were really good and the ingredients were all fresh. They have tons of other American home style dishes on the menu too. I would recommend stopping in and trying it out.

The Cornbread is a absolute must! Cherry coke made just like I remember it back in the day. Do yourself a favor and travel back in time at 410 dinner time capsule and have an amazing meal and experience! Awesome place.

I came in about 2:00 so that I would miss the lunch rush but maybe I should have come earlier cuz my veggies were not hot and in a warming table too long.
The chicken fried steak was apparently fresh off the grill but it was pretty bland and while the breading appeared crisp it was immediately just soggy in my mouth. I first ordered the stewed cabbage but I disliked it because it was just heavy cooked in tomato sauce so I got the butter beans instead which were yummy but barely lukewarm. The mashed potatoes were just average and very lukewarm almost cold, not hot at all and neither was the white gravy. I'm not a cornbread fan so I asked for the wheat bread which was just sliced and served on a plate it wasn't toasted or anything and it came with no butter, it was just bread. Everything just needed lots of salt and pepper to give it flavor. I was disappointed because I've heard good things about this place and while the interior was cute I don't think I'll come back.

The day we went they were understaffed but you could not tell. The staff were attentive to our large group.
The food was good. And yes I would go back. The 50's vibe was really cool also.

I haven’t been there in 5 years but decided to take a look at the menu…$15.95 is too much for chicken livers. $16.95 for catfish. Get Real!!! This is a diner, not a 4 star restaurant.
I am from the east coast and lived in places that know diners. This one is pretty legit. Classic diner with a little Texas flair. Hubs and I split the club with fries and had a cherry pie for dessert. The ingredients were fresh and well balanced. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They even heated up the cherry pie!
You can tell they love what they do here. Fabulous atmosphere, sweet staff, they even let us try the cornbread….. mmmmmm I hope they have chili in the fall for that awesome cornbread!
Definitely worth the time it took to drive here!!!!!
