Jose and his team are absolutely amazing! We hired them to decorate our wedding venue. When meeting with him he came up with amazing ideas to really wow our guests, and they were ecstatic with the results! He worked with our budget, was professional, and extremely creative!

DO NOT RECOMMEND! I am extremely unhappy with the portion size and temperature of the food. On the best day of the bride and groom's life, you'd hope for an experience that comes easy and delicious from your caterer, and that is not what was delivered. The bride who is a HUGE seafood lover ordered bacon wrapped shrimp to be served during cocktail hour, I didn't see a single one served! Save yourself the trouble from this rude service, who has hung up numerous times on the couple who would like an explanation as to why over 50 plates went missing during the event?? Look elsewhere for your big day because with this caterer you will be disappointed.

We would like to thank Jose and the whole A Gala Team for a wonderful wedding experience. We met Jose at the Bridal Extravaganza in San Antonio and he was very kind and engaging with us. Once we tried the chicken cordon bleu with mashed potatoes, we knew we had to go with A Gala! On the day of our wedding, the food tasted exactly how we remembered and all of our guests were served with a hot plate and the right amount. The service was excellent and all the food was delicious. Highly recommended! We also recommend the street tacos for a late night snack.

Highly recommend!!They did an amazing job at a Quinceañera I attended! From the delicious food to the very friendly staff. Everything was done in a timely manner. Clean up crew did a very good job handling everything as well. We have no complaints. ?

After reading tons of mixed reviews I was very skeptical and scared to be honest about booking. I’m so happy I did ???? when I met with Jose, He was very caring and reassuring. He made us feel like family. We had expectations and he by far surpassed them all, he definitely out did himself. All My family and friends complemented me on the delicious food,They really loved it. The food was hot and just the right portion. The late night snack was a hit too. (We did tacos). I wish I could give him a million stars. We will be using only a gala events from here on out for our events.

Terrible service to say the least. Not only were appetizers orders and not received, but also a TON of plates were not accounted for. After reaching out several times to ask about the items that were not received, the company refuses to acknowledge the mistake and continues to hang up. Do NOT use their service.

Caterers were extremely unprofessional and rude to my friend and our party. Threw away all extra food even though we told them to provide leftovers to vendors. Food was underwhelming and served in a sloppy fashion. Way overpriced for what you get in return. When approached by my friend regarding the service, they began yelling and being rude for absolutely no reason. I wish I could give zero stars.

We celebrated a once in a lifetime event that was meticulously planned out and we booked this caterer to feed our guest. I actually went for a taste test and the food was prepared really well, which is why I chose to go with Gala Event Catering. Long story short, the food that was prepared for our event was NOT the same quality as what we had for the taste testing AND they did not provide the amount of food as agreed for the number of guest we projected. The food was skimpy portions and dry chicken. We also had a second snack scheduled later in the event and the wings that we received were cheap quality! I would not recommend them or EVER use them again!

Jose was a dream to work with from the start. We met him at the San Fernando open house and immediately loved his personality as well as the comprehensive services and classy styles of A Gala Event. He helped make our wedding everything we wanted it to be, making us laugh plenty of times on the way. And when we made mistakes in the planning, he’d come save the day no problem. He was super flexible and always responded quickly to our needs. It’s clear Jose makes a personal investment in ensuring that each of his events is a success. We’d definitely book through him again! Highly highly recommend the yummy cordon bleu, meat empanadas, and the cucumber sandwiches!
