Jose and his team are absolutely amazing! We hired them to decorate our wedding venue. When meeting with him he came up with amazing ideas to really wow our guests, and they were ecstatic with the results! He worked with our budget, was professional, and extremely creative!

STAY away from this business and the owner Jose! Extremely unprofessional and the service and quality of the food is horrible. Huge embarrassment in front of our friends and family. Food was cold, service was very slow and we did not receive food that was committed to in contract. Foodwas served in styrofoam vs dinner plates we selected. So embarrassing. Bacon wrap shrimped look like bacon bits...couldnot even see the shrimp if the shrimp was even there. Chicken was served frozen and cold. mac and cheese bar was a joke...nothing but powdered mac and cheese. Food served to guest an 1.5 hours late. This company is a fraud. Stay far away from this company!!!

I would like to recommend Jose's catering services they did a very good job at my daughter's wedding this 11/11/22. At the first meeting Jose present to us a different plates and told us, as what we were seeing, same will be served at the day of our event, and it certainly was as he said. Our guests were very pleased with the service, taste and portions. The food was served on time and warm. The catering staff were always professional and attentively making sure everyone was taking care of. All the details of the food served at the wedding were covered thanks to the excellent service of A Gala Event Catering.

We would like to thank Jose and the whole A Gala Team for a wonderful wedding experience. We met Jose at the Bridal Extravaganza in San Antonio and he was very kind and engaging with us. Once we tried the chicken cordon bleu with mashed potatoes, we knew we had to go with A Gala! On the day of our wedding, the food tasted exactly how we remembered and all of our guests were served with a hot plate and the right amount. The service was excellent and all the food was delicious. Highly recommended! We also recommend the street tacos for a late night snack.

After reading tons of mixed reviews I was very skeptical and scared to be honest about booking. I’m so happy I did ???? when I met with Jose, He was very caring and reassuring. He made us feel like family. We had expectations and he by far surpassed them all, he definitely out did himself. All My family and friends complemented me on the delicious food,They really loved it. The food was hot and just the right portion. The late night snack was a hit too. (We did tacos). I wish I could give him a million stars. We will be using only a gala events from here on out for our events.

Jose and his crew have done now 3 of my family's wedding day catering and the experience is second to none. From the very time my new wife and I met Jose we were treated to the upmost hospitality. A Gala provides so much more than catering they provide an experience. Food/China/linens it's evident why he has withstood the test of time and has been a leader here in San Antonio. Caterers were extremely unprofessional and rude to my friend and our party. Threw away all extra food even though we told them to provide leftovers to vendors. Food was underwhelming and served in a sloppy fashion. Way overpriced for what you get in return. When approached by my friend regarding the service, they began yelling and being rude for absolutely no reason. I wish I could give zero stars.
