Absolutely DELICIOUS! Hummus app was amazing (just wished it had come with more pita). Caluliflower app was super good. Pizzas were all very good! Didn't love the sticky toffee dessert, but the food was a 10/10

Delicious! Acu is the best restaurant in the SA area. It’s consistently fabulous with food and drinks and the service is always great. While the menu is small, they do add occasional seasonal items. Don’t skip the pitas and hummus, or the paella, along with a Manhattan. Our favorite!

We had the seafood paella, hummus, beets, and piquillo peppers - all were delicious.However, our service really put such a damper on the entire experience. Our server barely greeted us, never asked if we'd like additional drinks, and we even had to flag him down more than once just to place our orders. He engaged with us as if he was doing us a favor. We asked for food recommendations since it was our first visit, and he offered nothing. Food was dropped at our table without a word or even a smile the entire evening.Understandably, everyone can have a bad day, and maybe this was the case, but it really is unfortunate that an establishment serving such quality food would result in this type of disappointing experience overall due to poor, apathetic service.

As many others have mentioned in the reviews, the food is phenomenal but our service tonight was flat out bad.We had a few appetizers and the bread pudding, each was outstanding. Honestly some of the best food I’ve had in San Antonio. However, after making a reservation for later than we had hoped we arrived and did not get a table and had to sit at the bar. We were told we’d be notified when a table opened up but half an hour after sitting at the bar we had to remind them that we would like a table. About an hour after our reservation time we got to be seated. We had to order food at the bar because we heard the kitchen would be closing from another guest around us. Getting the attention of any staff here is shockingly hard. They closed the kitchen and forgot about multiple dishes we ordered, so we just didn’t get them. We flagged someone down to ask for drink refills and after 15 minutes we still didn’t get them. Then they messed up our check and charged us for things we didn’t order. I still don’t know who our waiter was. Maybe they were understaffed, but it felt as if the staff just didn’t want to be interacted with and were trying to avoid it.I hope they fix this because the food is incredible and we’d love to go back and have a normal experience where the frustration doesn’t dampen the evening, which was over $150 for two with a couple drinks.

Food was delicious and excellent service. We stopped in for date night and enjoyed every bite. Started with the roasted red pepper hummus. Entrees we're the short ribs and Mar paella = delicious. Dessert sticky toffee cake with vanilla ice cream. We'll definitely be back.
Great place. Food was awesome, as was the service. You need to try this place. A nice and secluded to enjoy your dinner and company.

It’s a nice restaurant , braised lamb shanks are so delicious .. however if you’re planning to be there , kitchen seems to close at 9 PM and I get to know that today .. no worries .. should’ve been there early .. still I will definitely go back for the lamb shanks next time ?

Everything we had here was very good with the exception of the cocktails. Could not taste the spirits in the cocktails; tasted like juice. Would return to dine and just order wine or beer even though our waiter never cracked a smile once.

Great food and ambiance. Service was ok, if the waiter would washed his hands after using the bathroom would have been better. Also , the toilet bowl needed some ....TLCOtherwise , the dates were amazing, great combination with goat cheese.
