Chips and salsa, blah. Salsa was warm and no flavor. First, lunch serving is very small. Chilled Rellano was not traditional, first they brought me chicken instead of picadillo. Then forgot my fork. Did not care for Chille Relleno. Looked like a creamy avacado sauce over the top. I usually judge a Mexican restaurant by its Chille Relleno. They failed.Update, decided try again. I must say, they have the best Cuban I have had in San Antonio. So they now get 4 stars. We will see what's next.

I just recently had a surprise bday party for my husband here and I can't say enough about the service, food and atmosphere. The party was in the back patio area which was perfect. Patio area was large enough for about 40 of our guest the buffet setup, a dj and plenty of room for dancing.There were other customers on the other side however, the patio is large enough to where it still felt spacious.Everyone had a great time and really enjoyed the food and kept saying they would definitely be returning.Staff was so friendly and very helpful with everything from helping to decorate to making sure all the guests had what they needed. Jorge the manager made sure everything was on point and asked if anything was needed throughout the evening as well as the owner Raul who also came out and helped his staff which says a lot.All the drinks were delicious especially the margaritas.I highly recommend Ajuua especially for any parties you may be thinking of having.

When my family visits from Wisconsin - my sister insists on going to Ajuua! We have never had a bad experience. My son and I (live in San Antonio) and we are there often. My sister, brother and I ordered the enchiladas. We each ordered a different sauce - the chipotle, poblano, and cilantro lime - so we could share! Oh my! We had a hard time deciding on our favorite! Miranda was our server! Her professionalism and kindness made our visit even more special! We love Ajuua!

Customer service is always top tier. The manager is always so welcoming and personable. Nancy was the best server we've ever had! So much energy and full of life. They have the best Mexican food in SA. Great music, and the drinks are everything you need. Sunday Brunch is really good as well. The sauce on the Enchiliadas is cilantro cream sauce. 100/10 must try it.

Excellent cheese enchiladas!! They are made with real cheddar and chili con carne not the goopy red gravy other places use. The cucumber margarita is delicious too!! Our food came hot and fast. Our waitstaff was friendly too. My daughter had fish tacos and my husband had beef fajita tacos. Both plates looked amazing!!

3/2/24Sat at bar. Rosa Linda was our bartender server. She was fantastic. Ordered carnita crispy tacos & they were huge & delicious. Chips n salsa was awesome too. The habanero salsa is sooo gooood. We actually took a pint home. The draft beer was very cold unlike most places in SA. The place was spotlessly clean and all the staff friendly & helpful. Nice job Ajuua!!! Cant wait to return. I wish there were photos on your website of the Sunday buffet?Wed 3/6/24 lunchAnother great experience at the bar. Our waiter was Luis and he was awesome. Carnitas tacos were the best tacos I've ever eaten. Bar none. Ajuua rocks
