So I will address a few things I have seen in reviews. The location I go to is 547 Culebra so I am not sure if some reviews were a different location. I have seen absolutely no discrimination of race for serving. The food is absolutely amazing from how they season the chicken, to the rice seasoning, and the charro beans! I wish I could figure out how they do there seasoning for each. I have heard other locations are not as good as the one I listed so that is the only one I go to.
It's like your favorite family style taqueria truck but in a sit down atmosphere. The chicken marinade is spot on!

The food is the best Al carbon I have ever had anywhere ever and the service was spectacular! I never would have gone here on my own without the recommendation and now every time I go to San Antonio I make it a point to go to this location. The ambience is perfect! I have been told this is the best location to go to of all of them and I don’t doubt it. The flavors of the chicken, the charro beans, and the rice is amazing! I can’t put my finger on what exact spices they use for each, but it is perfect and better than anything I have ever had!

First coming here, and I'm really impressed ??. I paid $36 and fed 6 adults had unexpected mouths showing up. Food was hot and good will be going there again.

I ordered the half chicken which comes with rice,the rice was old but just reheated had a terrible smell and was Luke warm at best
the onion was nasty as he'll and that green whole Chile barely grilled the chicken no taste and dry as hell for that price 13 dollars plus no beans that is extra 2.50 so for almost 16 dollars you get a very nasty looking meal no flavor not taste

Both of us had half a chicken. The dark meat was delicious but the white meat was very dry. Beans are an extra charge.

Somewhere, I read once that there's no shame in doing something simple so long as it's done exceptionally well. This place does just that, delivering the best Pollo al Carbon hands down. It's economical. Two people can eat for $12 (not including tip) by ordering a half chicken with all the fixings. They smoke their food on-site, so it's fresh and quickly delivered upon ordering. It's a hybrid wait staff/counter service. Place your order with the waitress. Before leaving, you settle the bill by paying it at the counter.

We love eating the BBQ chicken from here.
Today I gave Mexican food a chance, we searched on Geogle for a nearby restaurant and we arrived. The place is not so good from the outside but I really don't regret having gone in. Everything is very delicious, the place has a good atmosphere and the young woman who served us was very friendly. I recommend it.

From out of town . Saw the Pollo asado sign and it was delicious. Good flavor and very economical. Friendly cashier. Hopefully I'll gp back to San Antonio to eat some more.

The best food. Never bad service. Food is great EVERY time. This is my favorite place for chicken. They even take extra care for food allergies.
Parking: It is always super busy when we come, but we always get a spot.
