You can’t beat Alamo Cafe’s homemade tortillas—whatever Abuela gave them that recipe deserves to be rich off it! The chicken fried steak is a classic and never disappoints. The atmosphere is better at the 281/Bitters location, but being one of the few originals left, this location was still good. (The San Pedro location should never have closed 25+ years ago.)

Shoutout to our waitress Olivia—she was absolutely amazing. So sweet, attentive, and really...
Had a christmas party there. They served us fajitas. The cooks must have marinated them in Worcestershire sauce. It was not good. The rice was pitiful, beans were ok. The servers were great!
First time trying we were pretty amazed. Free chips and fresh pressed tortillas with your meals. Service was fast and friendly. You get good amounts of plate servings. Main dishes are authentic Mexican.
