Love Alejandro's! Been coming here for years and they never disappoint. Their salsa (cruda) is amazing and they serve it with fresh-made tortillas chips.Get their chilaquiles, served all day (until 2 pm closing time), and top with the salsa - sabrosura!! Their corn tortillas are the best. One of the few handmade corn tortillas in town.
Great place to get an authentic taste of the West Side, including corn tortillas made daily. Alejandro, the Maestro of the cocina, serves up delicious affordable eats. Try the Carne a la Mexicana plate. Lunch for about $7 bucks including a tea. His wife and kids are often found at the cash register and serving tables. I've been eating here for years, and every visit is a treat.

They are a simple little neighborhood restaurant which happens to serve incredibly delicious food. Our family visited on Saturday...we needed to get away from the crowds at Market Square. They were immediately accommodating and tried to help us (former and current Californians) understand the style of food that is Tex-Mex. They even helped with my vegan daughter's order which is quite a challenge in an authentic Tex-Mex place! Their carne asada is TDF!!! Their tortillas are fresh...read full review
