From the moment you step into Allora, you're transported to a world where ambiance meets culinary excellence. The decor is a harmonious blend of modern chic and rustic charm, with soft lighting that creates an intimate and welcoming atmosphere. The food, however, is the real star of the show. Tenderloin & Gnocchi is a must-try—each bite is a symphony of flavors that dance on your palate. The bolognese is equally delightful, with fresh, high-quality ingredients that truly shine. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste is evident in every dish. The service is impeccable as well. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, always ready to offer recommendations or ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of perfect.

I was a little surprised when they charged me a separate $2 for a "Large Ice Cube" for my drink. Ice should be included in the price of the drink. It didn't really change the price of the dinner overall, but I have never experienced that in my life, and it left a bad taste in my mouth (pun intended).

Food was god awful and completely overpriced. Literally would rather have spent $200 on fast food. Server was nice, but when they tell you to not order certain items bc they are not good, obviously there is a quality issue. Not surprised the sister restaurant, Arrosta went out of business after the disgusting people there treated us with utter disrespect to complement their pompous lazy attitudes.

I really don't know why Allora has so few reviews and low rating we have been there several times and the food and service has been great all the time.

The interior design is attractive and the staff friendly, but the food and service basics were not good. My tenderloin was very much over salted, even after scraping off the over-the-top salty chimichurri sauce which sadly was the primary source of flavor. My appetizer plate had food residue on it as though it hadn't gone thru any sort of dish washing at all. Although the restaurant wasn't full, two of the tables near us sat uncleared from the time we arrived to after they were actually offered to another guest couple. Overall, it felt like a complacency with mediocrity that seems to be cropping up more and more in San Antonio's cuisine spots. Allora will not be included in our list of top (or favorite) San Antonio eateries, and we wouldn't go again by choice.

Everything was exceptional. We loved all the food expert the Cesar salad. You could tell it wasn't the best cut of Romaine but outside of that the Trout and fritters all the way to dessert very tasty and seasoned well. The service was great we never waited for anything and they were very friendly.

We had a reservation, but never got sat and it was 45 mins after reservation so we left when they said they still had no tables for us. Drinks at the bar were good and the bartender was very nice!

I could be specific but it boils down to the restaurant did not live up to the reviews I read. Extremely poor waitress is probably skewing this review. For the money, I would have thought we'd receive better service and overall quality. Hostess was the best thing this restaurant had to offer. I have a thing about clean restrooms. If the restroom isn't clean, I'm concerned what else isn't clean. I can tell you the restroom wasn't clean, saw manager pick at his nose and then immediately grab a dish to serve someone, and after that I paid my bill and left. I won't be back.

Four of us went to Allora to celebrate my husband's birthday and discovered Allora was part of San Antonio's Restaurant Week. They had a wonderful special 4-course menu along with a wine pairing for a very reasonable price that we ended up going with. Everything was absolutely fresh and delicious!! We started with the salmon tartare, parmesan fritters, bruschetta, Caesar salad and arugula salad. Next we shared trout, ricotta stuffed chicken breast, and a noodle dish. And we ended with pistachio gelato and limoncello curd with berries. Our server, Keith Jackson, was absolutely amazing!! He was attentive, knowledgeable about the menu and our wine selections, funny and very courteous. We will definitely ask to sit in Keith's section the next time we visit. He treated us and particularly, my husband, like royalty. This was our second visit to Allora and both times we've been very impressed with the ambiance, the service and most importantly, the food. Allora will definitely become one of our regular go-to spots for fine dining. We highly recommend you give them a try.

The vibe was reminiscent of outdoors in a coastal Italian city with black and white patio cushions and coral colored walls. It’s a calm comfortable atmosphere. The food was cozy and yummy. They hit the comfort Italian home food. Everything was good but needed a hint of salt, except the bread. The bread was a little too salty and the coffee was bitter which is why I gave them 4 stars. the tiramisu was absolute perfection, It’s a lovely place for a date or apps with a friend,

My first time to visit was with a group from work. Service was excellent and very attentive. Our water glasses were never empty. The food had an interesting take on Italian that was different, but not in a bad way. The wine selection was not extensive but was very good. The chianti was delicious.

Pay for atmosphere, given a nasty look when I didn’t have a reservation, and food seemed pricey for the cost considering it wasn’t all that delicious, it was maybe slightly above average but not worth it.

Took my sister here for her birthday dinner and it was perfect. Great service from our server Angelo! The food was delicious and they were very accommodating to my gluten allergy. Will definitely be coming back

One of my favorite restaurants in San Antonio. Great cocktails, a pretty decent wine list (I am a wine snob), their Allora Spritz is my favorite, the appetizers are increased, their salads and soups are really good, and their pastas are the best in the area (especially the gnocchi), most of their mains or segundi are very good, but we had a chicken dish with lemon that was just not what was advertised and the chicken was overcooked, but our salmon putinesca dish was incredible, and their desserts are quite good too. However, the star of the show is always their service, it's always very good which is appreciated. Overall really good but don't order the chicken.
