Don’t be fooled this is not Coastal Italian. In fact there is very little seafood on the menu. Overall the food is very fresh and flavours are great. Keith our waiter was very attentive and professional. He answered a lot of our question and even went to the kitchen to find out how the cauliflower was roasted.

I’ve dined here twice and both times I did not feel the food was worth the price. I really liked the Orecchiette pesto pasta, but the Branzino, Tomahawk, duck, gnocchi were all just ok. Not bad at all, but not great. Same with the cocktails. Additionally despite having several dishes that could easily be prepared vegan, like carrots, mushrooms, beet toast, focaccia etc; the chef says he “pre-prepares” all the foods with butter. Not only is it odd that the main fat used in an Italian restaurant is butter instead of olive oil, but why couldn’t a chef at a very expensive restaurant make a vegan dish? It’s not hard. I’ve been to several similarly “fancy” restaurants and generally the chef either already has a “go-to” vegan dish they can make or they easily whip something (not a salad) up from their stocked, industrial kitchen. It’s either laziness or prejudice on the chef’s part. It’s 2024 and I’ve worked in similar restaurants and it was a daily occurrence to have vegan and gluten free meal requests. It was never an issue, especially with a professional chef, he literally wasn’t bothered. Not at Allora, it was like we asked for McDonalds. Between the mediocre food, lazy chef, and price it just isn’t worth it.

Everyone has a great service and they explain the dishes and provide very good input for every dish or drinks, also love that they can customize your dishes to your request. The food taste good, we have been here a few times and prefer the mid day time.Kid-friendliness: They do provide custom dishes

Overpriced garbage. Service is horribleManagers are alcoholics who are known to steal bottles of wine and liquor from the restaurant, yet they're somehow in the position they're in. That might explain why the restaurant is in the terrible spot it's in and is on the verge of shutting its doors

We had high hopes for this restaurant but this was a complete bust. The service was unforgivable. We came to celebrate my husband’s birthday and it was just the worst. We were here for over two and a half hours and the waitress only asked to refill our drinks twice. Our food took forever and it came out all at different times. We got our main course and our sides came out when we were more than half way through with the entrees. It took over 30 mins to get our bill and pay. Do not waste your time or money on this place.

The food was a disappointment. The sides came after we finished the main course. The flavours were off, I wouldn't recommend this place. I would rather eat at McDonald'

Yesterday, I saw and was impressed with the Restaurant Week menu for @allorapearl. Amazingly, I was able to make reservations through Tock.We were seated at the balcony area, and Emily was our very attentive server. Hubby had the Highwheel Hefe, I had the Mia Cara, and Dad had Lemonade. The Restaurant Week Menu had great choices. The liver mousse was outstanding with the cherry jam. By the time we got to the third course - grilled rainbow trout and quail - we were so full. We all shared the Pistachio Gelato and I had a bite of the Lemon Curd. Definitely had some food to take home. Great spread and tastings of food! Go hungry!

First they placed us in front of the entrance to the kitchen. They did change us after I asked. It 1 hour from the time we sat down to get our food. Both dishes we got were very spicy hot but there was no mention of this on the menu.

this was quite possibly the worst fine dining experience of my life. we arrived to an empty restaurant and were sat by the kitchen. we moved after a protest and totally confusion by the hostess. We were served hot Peligrino and hot sparkling wine. The menu was prefix for new years but we were not told that in advance. You had to request a cocktail menu and were discouraged from ordering even though that was the only thing good we had all night. There were no offering for kids even though the menu was totally unsuitable and we were there at 5:15. Several children were there but none had food to eat. We asked for butter noodles but none were provided. the sever was disinterested in the food and inexperienced. She didn't know the food or the wine. The food was over priced and just not good. I would never eat here again.

The food that was available was great! We did have to wait over an hour longer for our reservation due to the party before us not leaving. It was disappointing to hear that some of the main dishes and sides were not available, but that’s the risk you run when things are made to order which I appreciate.

This is just an amazing place that has the best Italian food I have ever had. Staff was attentive and welcoming, and while parking is a nightmare, I recommend this in the strongest possible sense to anyone looking for a meal to remember.Parking: Parking can be challenging to get to, but the restaurant does validate parking.
