1st time eating here. Food was on point and delicious ?. My over medium eggs had no runny whites. The refried beans had great flavor. Menudo was very tasty as well. IMO maybe a lil bit more pozole. Oh, and the tortillas are fresh fresh fresh. Initially, I ordered Caldo de Rez and was disappointed it the sweet owner told us it usually is ready about 930 or so. Which is awesome, he was aware we wanted Caldo. Great communication. Thank you. Will be coming back to try their Caldo for sure. The only hiccup is the dining area is on the small size.

The service was very slow, too many people for a small space, the food was pretty good, the price was right for three people.

Parking is somewhat hard to get as the restaurant is always packed but once getting in you see that the menu prices are cheap and affordable. Prices I haven’t seen since before Covid. I had gotten the enchilada special that comes with 2 enchiladas, rice, and beans. To top it off I added two bean and cheese with bacon and to be honest with you; when eating the bean and rice the beans came out delicious but the rice was slightly bland and when eating the enchiladas they were amazing especially the gravy added on top was just chef kiss on flavoring. Now the fajita that came with was in my opinion bland with slight flavoring. When getting to the bean and cheese I will say that it was tasty the tortilla didn’t taste like plastic and was not store bought either as it was homemade and the bacon was delicious, the flavoring just melts on your mouth and the tacos were bigger than the average taco. All in all I rate my dining experience a 6, just because it felt to cramped inside and I had to scoot every now and then just so the waiters can get by. The food I rate it 7.5 as both the rice and fajita weren’t up to par. Now the affordability is amazing here and rate it as a 8.5 as you can’t find most places in San Antonio that can beat those prices. I should also mention I came with my father and he had gotten one carne guisada and one sausage and egg tacos, with a sweet tea and coffee and it only came out to $28 which for how much I got, it’s a steal. Never the less I recommend you try this little Mexican cafe out of your looking for affordable prices and decent food. Eating overall is a 8!

Don't like how the salsa is handle. They use the same salsa for each customer the same bowl stay on the table for the next customer they just keep refilling it. The tortillas are chewy. They charge for chips and salsa. I don't recommend this place.

This place is a hidden gem. Food was fresh, hot and good-sized portions. Tortillas were fresh and homemade. Coffee was fresh, and the service was fast. It's a must to go get breakfast here!!!

Good food, very small location which makes it very crowded on Saturday and Sunday. Go during the week otherwise you will have to wait for a table. Breakfast tacos are big and yummy ?

I went today to try this place out and picked up an order. The tacos are good, but a little pricey…but definitely NOT WORTH the stress of finding a parking and playing Tetris to enter or exit out from the smallest parking lot to have ever existed. The inside of this place is even smaller, to the point where it’s over capacity. The owner should’ve thought this one out, it’s only a matter of time until an argument breaks out.
