The most authentic Korean dining experience in San Antonio, soup dishes that taste like they were made in Seoul!

the pork belly bulgogi was excellent. i couldn't clean my plate because the banchan was also amazing and ended up eating most of it for the table ?. my only warning is that the larger multiperson plates are mixed in with single entrees, just pay attention to the red text. i almost ordered a plate for 2 for myself.Wheelchair accessibility: there is a cement ramp at the front door, but it looks a bit steep. Not sure how easily a wheelchair or mobile assistance device would be able to get up it. the entrance is a home style frontdoor that swings into the building. there are tables that are not walled in.

Best Korean Restaurant in Central Texas!! Lots of options to choose from and great service! Great extended hours into early mornings!! I might just go there right now!

EDIT: After going here plenty of more times, I am changing my review. The service here is horrible. I get that this is an authentic Korean restaurant with Korean owners/servers, but the American way of service is vastly different and we are expected to be treated a different way. Not only is the service horrible, but the man who works there practically FORCES you to tip when in Korea there is no tipping service. Why would I tip for horrible service? My company and I asked for extra drinks and we were SCOFFED at for asking for extras... food is amazing but prices here are expensive. Make sure to note you'll at least spend $50 when eating out with someone else. Even though the food is great, I do not feel I was treated with respect here at the restaurant nor do I feel the need to spend a large amount of money at a restaurant that seems they do not want to serve you. Fun to try at least once, but leaves you disappointed after a while.(End of edit.)The atmosphere was cozy and the food was so good! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that the people who ran the place were actually Korean so you can guarantee the food is authentic. My jjigae was AMAZING! The couple there seemed to own the place were very nice and we even got extra side dishes. After going to other Korean restaurants in San Antonio, I can honestly say this is the only one that truly felt authentic and of course provided the best food.

Walked in on a Monday around 8pm and it was painfully quiet in there lol. My boyfriend and I were the only ones in the restaurant at the time. Our server was expressionless and short with us, which added more to the uncomfortableness. Our food was delicious but I just felt very awkward in there.

My family and I love this place. I noticed some people have mixed reviews, but my honest opinion with everytime I visited was always the same quality. Great! My go to is usually the chicken spicy hearts or the seasond pork intestines, Kimchi-jigae . The bone borth soup is also delicious and the side dishes!

If I could give this a 0 star i would. The server was insanely rude. My friends and i went for our usual favorite Gam-ja-tang. The server looked and sounded like she was devastated to serve there . Soon as she served our soups she had slammed them onto the table and nearly poured one on me. She pointed at our items on the table and demanded “ i need these off the table”, could have asked nicely? We had asked for some lemon and she rudely answered “we have no lemon”. We couldn’t even ask for anything else cause how irrelevant this lady was. We had to get our own napkins from a different table. SHE NEVER ONCE CHECKED ON US NOR GAVE US WATER REFILS. It wasn’t only us that she was being impolite to, but to every single one of her tables. It’s ridiculous. I work at a restaurant and that ill-mannered service is unacceptable. We could not enjoy our food and did not want to ask for to go boxes cause we couldn’t handle how bad the service was. Overall, we cleaned up the table for her just so she could atleast give another guests some smile. Would not recommend dining in.

I visited this restaurant 10 years ago and liked the authentic Korean flavor, but I thought the service was honestly bad, today I forgot I had been there before and when I got there I remembered about the bad experience, but yet decided to give it a second chance since it had been 10 years and the reviews were fairly good hoping for some sort of improvement, Unfortunately it is just the same as it was the first time, in my opinion, overrated! Someone mentioned a hole in n the wall with good food, though sadly really bad customer service and the place is exactly the same, just 10 years older. I will certainly would not return. If you don’t mind bad service and shady look inside, but great food, then I guess it’s barely acceptable.

This restaurant is literally almost across the street from me. Very nice “ Korean” vibe ( I’m Caucasian American) and huge portions. A
