It was a decent bowling alley, went on a Friday night and there was no wait. Price was a bit steep though, it was $25 per person for only 1 hour. The lanes were a bit too slick as well. The bowling ball had a hard time gripping making it hard to pick up any kind of splits.
We were there for a 2 day tournament and the lanes seemed well prepared and the administrators a great job. Everyone seemed to have a great time. For an old bowling alley, it certainly seems to handle a large event like this with ease.
My wife and I are not considered seasoned bowlers but would definitely recommend Astrobowl to any bowler.
Why don't this place just make it a club for league bowling if thats all you accommodate.. seen a response that only half the lanes are for leagues,, not true. Going in there at least 4 times a week to be turned away 3.. was an awesome place but going down hill fast ... The ppl are rude AF when u ask for person in charge an give you the run around. .. and also asking why... Don't matter why... Employees feel like they need to know the reason for u speaking with the owner like it's their bizz.. don't recommend anymore .. having to find a new spot.
You can bowl your best games on those Lanes
My family ( group of 10) and I have been going to Astro bowl for a few months now and we usually have received adequate service but on mother's day we went in and received the best service we've seen in just about any business here in SA.
Michael Powell was working the alley on his own and not only managed to keep up with all of the customer's needs, address mechanical issues, and keep the place clean but he also took the time to explain all the specials, give advice on what ball to use,and explain how the scoring system works.
This is type service you don't see anymore and the type of employee that should be leading the team.
A special thanks to Michael my Family and I appreciated your time and efforts.
Great for league tournaments.
Food and quality of the building is questionable. Kitchen constantly throws smoke from cooking and should be deemed a health hazard. Bathrooms and other areas have been slightly renovated but are questionable as to the quality of the renovation.
Parking lot has had incendents that have occured and break ins.
Nice fun place. Friendly staff and safe environment. Family had a nice time!
Loved the experience. My family had a blast. Very affordable will do it again
Had a lane that kept shutting down. Staff was quick to address issues and even gave some additional time for the inconvenience. Kudos
Love to bowl there but it could use a major renovation

i had my birthday here a few weeks ago for the second year in a row. this is my favorite bowling alley in town by far. it is super affordable, the staff is kind and overall it was a 10/10 experience. it was so easy to book my party and they were able to answer all my questions. highly recommend
Affordable and they have deals during the week. Think old school bowling alleys.
The original bowling experience and priced very well verse others around.
Great time with my granddaughter even though neither of us are good at bowling!
If I could give this a negative score, I would. We were denied the chance to bowl because it tournament/league night on a Saturday. No where on the website did it say this. We would not have come if we knew that. The staff was unfriendly about it as well. We will not be returning. 0/10 would not recommend.
