The food is fantastic and the atmosphere is cozy. The owners are ex military and will add a donation to the wounded warrior project on the bill if you ask. It's a great place for a leisurely lunch.

Fresh juices and upbeat environment. I favor this place more than smoothie king. Yummy stuff.

One of my favorite lunch spots in San Antonio! The staff are so friendly & the food is amazing! The only place I trust with my Avocado Shake!

THEY ARE PERMANENTLY CLOSED. We stopped by a couple years ago and loved it. Stopped by today 9/5/20 but was told by a neighboring business that they moved. Nothing posted that they moved. Disappointed but glad to have tried them at least once.

One of my favorite go to spots! Everything on their menu is delicious. They have contemporary Christian music playing at all times and it's just cute. Friendly staff.

Always been a favorite spot of mine. Been going here for years now. The food is always so good, the service is absolutely awesome and my husband and i had our baby shower here it was absolutely perfect. They always know how to put the customer first and give you good, healthy, quality food.

Environment was beautiful, decor was unique and creative, and the staff was extremely friendly! We went and tried a few things to see what we'd like best and were not disappointed! I couldn't pick a favorite though; it was all so good! They let us know they were a little short staffed but they worked hard to make sure we were helped often! That being said, come here when you have more free time first, just to have a better sense of time and not try to enjoy this place when you're rushed. They ask you about your dietary restrictions first and have many options for those that usually lack them.Definitely a place to visit and try new and healthy foods!

We tried to go to this place but it looks like they are closed. Website and Facebook page have not been updated in a while. I bet they would have done better before Covid. I'd try again if they were open,

Went to this place on Jun/24/20 and looks like the place is closed. Not sure if they are closing permanently or temporarily. I would call before heading over.

Well the food is 5 star great! But I gave y'all a 3 due to your lack of telling the public about your closing. When I called today is when i learned this. You said you posted this on your Facebook page but put nothing on your actual web page! And there was not a sign at the actual restaurant either! I coordinated a lunch with my sister and nieces during my lunch hour. A few days before the lunch date we poured over your menu from your website, we went back and forth about what to order at our upcoming reunion/lunch etc.... And we get there to discover a ghost town. Without a note on the door even. Very annoying! Wasted time and energy. If you are going to have web page - update it! Not everyone follows you on face book. And grab some tape, a piece of paper and a marker and put it on your door. On that note ....Good Luck with franchising and with the future of Avocado Cafe. Y'all really have something! Healthy, tasty, food! Yumm!

This place never disappoints! The food is delicious and service is prompt and friendly. Will definitely return for this healthy menu for to satisfy both my savory and sweet tooth.

We got there and had to wait for them to clean off a table, though the restaurant wasn't packed. It was Sunday. They took our drink order. Juice and water. We had to wait a while again for those. Then they took our food order. I think we waited about 20 minutes for our food, if not more. I ordered the vegan version of their breakfast tacos. My husband ordered the avocado toast. Twice the waiter came out to ask about my order. The second time he made it clear he didn't know what a vegan was, even though it was on the menu. We got so hungry waiting we ordered a scone, which took more time. It was just cooked through. When the food finally arrived it looked and tasted like the cooks didn't know what they were doing; like we had gone to someone's college dorm and gotten made a snack. It wasn't good. I'm glad we went so that we can cross it off our list. I can't recommend this place--at least not if you're vegan. Oh, it was also cold inside. The juice was good.
