Decor was cute and service was good. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup and it was delicious. The margaritas stole the show though! Would come back.

Interesting, walked here two days ago to check it out. Today 3/15/24 it’s closed. The place has potential but they’re missing the mark a little. Decent design with the exception of the soda box with Jalisco sodas. Kind of tacky for that area. Also it was very slow for 7:00 pm at night. Unlike the restaurants around the corner. The four tables that were seated were all Hispanic 2 of which were with kids. They need to reach out to tourists etc. btw.. My wife is Hispanic so.. Anyway we decided not to stay..Also, they don’t have a website either. Never a good sign. I’ve been in the restaurant buisness for many years. That said, location , location, location. If you are off the beaten track advertising and decent signage is essential. As is parking. A business with no sign is a sign of no business. They have plenty of apartments around there with a few thousand people to draw from. They need a good consultant to show them how the make the place successful. Feel free to message me if you want help getting on track. Seriously?

Went a few days ago, it was 10 of us for lunch. This place has a dope look inside; probably looks better at night too.It took about 15/20 mins to get a server. You would think a big party not many ppl inside we’d get great service. To start we had a new girl you can tell she was just getting her feet wet in the place and didn’t know the ins and outs of the operations. She was a sweet girl and did her best but USUALY theirs always a trainer along side a new person to help out. The poor girl didn’t even have a uniform like everyone else I’m afraid it could’ve been her first day on the job.The food looked great on Instagram but honestly out of 10 of us maybe 3 of us finished our plates. The quesadilla was oily, and had an extreme amount of cheese to chicken ratio. The corn tortillas were dry for the tacos. All the dishes were brought out at different times. A guacamole appetizer was the LAST item delivered to the table. The tacos ahogados that I had were a 2/5. The sauce tasted like it’s straight from the can. I don’t even think one person on the table took a picture of the food to say the least. The drinks were the best thing out of the experience. The place has potential but looking at how unaware the managers and/or owners looked you can tell the place needs some real QUALITY CONTROL when it comes to service, food, and training. The food looks good on video (you can pay anyone to do a video on your place) but consistency day in and out is the key to keep customers flowing in. We love to eat and try new places all the time but this place was just not worth the money. Im not bashing these ppl either just some constructive criticism and I wish them well!

We had just gotten into town after a long day of traveling and needed some place local to eat before checking into our Airbnb. We loved the atmosphere of the restaurant immediately, but the service we received from Alyssa is what we enjoyed the most. She chatted with us and was genuinely caring, which was a great first impression of the city. The food was delicious, albeit quite spicy. We would definitely come back to this welcoming restaurant again!

Horrible service, had one person working the hostess stand with a line out the door, empty bar but wouldn’t let me sit at the bar and wanted me to get on their hour and half wait list. Two people were sitting at the bar and and asked why I couldn’t and was told oh because I’m just letting them for now. Makes no sense so I

Got sat quickly! Ordered the pastor quesadillas and no where on the menu did it mention it had pineapples(which I HATE) thankfully they were pretty dry and don’t leave much of a taste in the quesadilla. Drinks took a while to eat to us, we were almost done with our food. BUT the food despite the pineapples was good! The drinks were good! The atmosphere was pretty cool also! The prices were not bad as well!

My friend brought me so we could celebrate my birthday with a little brunch. Upon entering we loved the atmosphere but were told it be a 45 minute wait. We agreed since we were excited about experiencing the place. Sadly we ended up leaving because we realized people who hadn’t been waiting as long as we had/entered, were being serviced before us. We had already been waiting for a good 30 out of the 45 minutes we were promised. There were many empty tables and plenty of waitstaff. No kind of accommodations like seating at the bar for faster service was offered. Yet, they were quick to service others who inserted themselves into the bar. I suggest keeping track of seating etc. sucked we couldn’t enjoy what could’ve been a great place!

if you would like to have your time wasted, this is the place for you! Came to eat for 2, was told 45 minute wait. There was so many waiters and it wasn’t that busy, but we said okay. Then a small group arrives after us and they got to sit at the bar? got served chips and all. We were still waiting, standing up I will add. More people arrive, another pair of people get told “5minutes” and the small group that got served chips then get moved to a table? It’s been 20ish minutes at this point and people after us were still getting attended to before. I’m not the type of person who feels entitled to anything so I don’t complain, but jeez. I should’ve listened to the other reviews

As I sit here eating, im wondering how to describe this place other than freaken fabulous. I sat at the bar and the service was excellent, awesome drinks, tasty food even though it could of been served hotter for my liking (was not cold) this place is a 10/10. Parking is easy in the garage right next door. This is absolutely my new brunch spot music is on point.

From start to finish,Walked in to the beautiful space with no host or anybody to greet us (party of 2). We waited about 7 minutes before anyone acknowledged that we walked in. Even a hello, we’ll be right with you would have been cool. There was a half eaten plate of food sitting in plain sight at the host stand, a bit of an eye sore to see when you walk in but no biggie, people get hungry, right?Fast forward to getting sat, we waited another 5 mins before anyone said anything to us. (Not very busy, but we gave the benefit of the doubt that the server was busy or maybe in the weeds.)Started with a their Watermelon Paloma, and was confused as to why the first sip came out warm/hot. Gave it a stir and wasn’t a fan, no big deal I didn’t drink it and moved on.We ordered the nachos to start, which were lukewarm but tasty.Ordered the Chicken Mole Enchiladas, which also didn’t come out hot but we were hungry so we tried to not be picky.Had to ask for silverware and napkins from another worker as our server hadn’t checked on us in a while. The shredded chicken in the enchiladas were very dry, had to ask another worker that wasn’t our server for a side of sauce to get through it.The torta my friend got was the best part of this experience. The owner made his rounds at tables and came to chat with us. After expressing our experience to him, was a little disappointed with the response of “we were busy and are new”. No accountability.Shortly after saw the hostess sweeping the dining room chairs with a broom, then continue to sweepings floors with the same broom. The restaurant space is gorgeous and has so much potential, but the execution of service and lack of team work was very evident. Was very let down by the entire experience as S.A.Foodie raved about everything and glamorized the food and drinks.Would love to come back in the future in hopes that things have changed.

So starting from the walk in there was no host to sit us. And there was food on the host stand which was a turn off. When sat the server took a while to greet us it was definitely over 5 min. But being a Friday (it wasn’t busy) we cut some slack especially being in the industry. The drinks ( ordered the noche en Jalisco and the paloma) would not recommend. We understood a boozy cocktail but there was no balance they definitely need to consider a new beverage director. The food however made up for the experience ordered the torta and mole enchiladas along with nachos and were super tasty especially for the price point. I wish there were more side options.Service is terrible server does not come and check on us, drinks take a long time. Was trying to get extra sauce for the dry enchiladas and that took forever even tho managers and servers were standing around. I even flagged down a employee and they walked past meI will not return

The first time here, and I was not impressed, the atmosphere was the best part. I had chicken enchiladas, and the chicken was extremely dry. Not even a butter knife cut through it without me trying hard. Im not kidding. My coworker had tacos, which is what i should've ordered. They looked better and tasted much, much better. Would i go back, ehhhh, for drinks because i haven't tried the bar yet!
