Got there around 2:30, took 30+ minutes to get through drive-thru line. Ordered a bacon brisket club, coleslaw, peach cobbler. The brisket on the sandwich was a bunch of tough chunks, no slices. For the price, $14.89, this was ridiculous. I gave the tough chunks to my dog. Coleslaw was good. Cobbler, which has always been one of my favorites here, was another disappointment: crust was soft and soggy. I threw out most of it. I've come here a number of times since they re-opened, and rarely been disappointed. But paying almost $15 for a sandwich with the worst part of the brisket is not something that would make me return. The cobbler was $5.29, but most of it wasn't eaten because it was awful. The last 2 of 3 visits were too expensive for such mediocrity. No thanks, won't be back.

A delicious treat! They are a staple of the South side, and I love every bit of their hospitality, great portions, and delicious food! I haven't been inside, but from the pictures, i can tell it's well kept. The nice man at the window is patient. It's always crowded here and it's always number one in BBQ for us! Thanks! The food was tasty! Pulled pork po'boy for me. Delicious. The serving of BBQ sauce on the side was unique, had some mild heat, and tasted so good. Good fries, too. The husband got chicken - moist, flavorful, good smoky BBQ taste. He enjoyed his sides - the beans and coleslaw with the vinegar-based dressing. We skipped dessert. We went at lunchtime on a weekday. There was a line, but it moved fast and efficiently. Food came quickly. We found an available table easily. Energetic vibe. Lots of tables. Open dining area. We were visiting the area from out of state and wanted to eat Texas BBQ. Signs of a good restaurant: A line waiting to order, many locals enjoying a lunch break at the tables around us, and a crowded parking lot. We checked off all three for this place. Not to mention good reviews on Yelp.

I decided to get a treat meal for my office today as employee appreciation and we ended all up getting poisoned. I called to let them know that the common item (potato salad) has to be bad because we all got very sick around 30 minutes after eating. The response was that they would sub the side… Who in their food poisoned mind would eat another thing from the same place? I’m definitely not ordering again from this place. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because I gotta give it to them, the meat was very good and the amount of food is worth for the money. But a bit of business advice, if someone is calling you to warn you about you selling bad food to avoid further harm, don’t offer more food. A partial refund for the affected side would be acceptable.

Still the best on this side of town. From their salad bowl, which is huge and delivers a AWESOME taste of freshness, to their BBQ plates, to their loaded baked potatoes, You will not be disappointed. They also have doggie bags for your fur baby's too. Also, take home their royal cookies as these are super soft and great tasting
