This place was pretty awesome in banging out dry rub ribs and brisket. Their mac n cheese is pretty on point with jalapeños, and the rest of the sides were amazing.

Honestly, I would have driven by this place without a second thought, but an acquaintance recommended it so I decided to check it out. And let me tell you, I am so glad I did. I prefer my brisket a little more on the drier side, and every time I have specified this, B&D has delivered. The ribs are perfection, the sausage is good, and the turkey is a must-have. The sauce is served on the side and while it is great as well, the meats could easily stand alone. The only thing on the menu I am not crazy about is the pulled pork, but everything else more than makes up for it. As far as sides go, I highly recommend the mac and cheese. In addition to the phenomenal food, the staff has always been very personable as well.

I was looking forward to eating here since Covid but we drove downtown today and the place appears to have had a recent fire. There was obvious damage to the building and a large dumpster in their seating area to manage the ruble. I was surprised when I checked social media that nothing has been posted to notify patrons of it being closed. Hope they reopen soon this place is amazing with excellent BBQ. I'll miss it for sure!

It was a pleasant experience dining in after all the pandemic commotion but I really enjoyed my meal and service. Would highly recommend to anyone!! Especially families and people looking to go out for a quick bite !

A pleasant hole in the wall with tasty food. I wanted to find "authentic" barbecue in the area and B&D popped up. The outside view isn't great, but the food was tasty and the staff was very friendly. Seems like a nice place to regularly visit for a simple BBQ lunch.

This was my first visit but truly will not be my last the staff was very friendly and I am very picky about bqq sauce so I had them put it on the side this sauce was the BOMB? it was not sweet but just the right amount of kick to it I am already telling my friends about it thank you for my new bbq spot

My favorite place to sit at and enjoy local bbq when im back in san antonio. I often travel and tend to crave B&D brisket and thier choice of Texas beers on draft. One thing I also love is they always have that jug of KOOL-AID! Sausage is point on, brisket smoked, delicate, flavorful. This place is a plus with plenty of seating outdoors to enjoy ! Check this place out its amazing......!!!!!
