Bahama Buck's - San Antonio (Bandera Road)

The drive-thru line is usually very busy. I prefer to go inside. They have a large selection of flavors even, sugar-free flavors. From the time you order and receive your treat, it is a little bit of a weight. For shaved ice, they are hard to beat.

Let me start off by saying I love this place however, my recent visit was not a good one. The business hours are posted on the drive-thru window but the drive-thru was closed earlier than the posted hours. To add insult to injury, the employees act like we didn’t just see them in the store running to the back to hide. As I drove away, I saw them peaking out of the back area. The time it took for this stupid charade took longer than it would’ve taken to make my shaved ice.

Waited over an hour at the drive through, with only one car in front. Atrocious.

Jessica was amazing when I came to this location and I will continue to come to get my smoothies from this location! They’re amazing!

I don’t usually write reviews for fast dining or Icecream shops but felt the need to share my experience here.

I’ve never been to BAHAMA bucks before and was curious to try it since my daughter mentions it a lot. I wasn’t expecting much from a snow cone or “shaved ice” shop rather , but I was pleasantly pleased by the quality of service we received. We were served by an upbeat and friendly Kassie.

She was juggling quite a lot of tasks by herself, but still got everything done pretty quickly while maintaining a positive attitude. I tried her reccomended shaved ice and loved it.

The store itself was very clean, while a bit cold…obviously(bring a sweater!). A great location that I will be bringing the kiddos to again soon!

1st visit to this restaurant. I guess it's more of a smoothie/ shaved ice shop . Lots of choices on the menu. Prices are mid range. The staff is very polite and helpful. I will return for sure

The 3 ladies working were more interested in talking than working.
The 4 snow cones we ordered did not have enough syrup to even give color to the snow, let alone flavor. They were too slow. Forgot our order. We had to ask about our order. Some tables were dirty. We have been to other locations that have great service. This one is terrible

The snow cone had an extremely strong chlorine flavor. To the point that when using a straw, it tasted like pool water.

What a wonderful establishment in a world where kids and parents can sit together and enjoy these amazing, refreshing treats! We also played a few rounds of Jenga. Had a few laughs and made some memories. Love the decor and ambiance here! Very tropical and bright. Plenty of tables and super nice staff that make sure you are happy with your special cool drink.
