On 2025 March 25 around 5 pm, I had an extremely disturbing and unacceptable experience at Bakudan that warrants a serious warning to others. While simply sitting in my car outside the restaurant waiting for my girl friend, I was racially profiled by two white women who took it upon themselves to report me to the staff and security—without any reason or provocation. Instead of handling the situation with professionalism or decency, the manager, Edgar, escalated it by sending security to question me as if I were a criminal and continued questioning in an accusatory and disrespectful manner. This experience left me feeling humiliated, targeted, and deeply disappointed. No one should be made to feel like a suspect simply for existing in a space. Bakudan has made it clear that certain people are not welcome here, and I will never return.

Our first time eating here. I'm pleasantly surprised. No wait. We sat down immediately. Very charming. I always thought that I'd expect hearing Kansas play in a Ramen restaurant 🤔. It was great, too. Code, our waitress was nice and very informative. If we are in the area, I'm sure we'll be back.
Ordered from here for lunch this afternoon and the soup was filled with small hard burnt pieces . Couldn't even eat it.

It took 10 min to get a server after we were seated. We had to ask someone. It was so loud that our server couldn’t hear our order, so our appetizer came out with our meals. Two chicken dishes were so over cooked that they could not be eaten. Server didn’t check back for a while. When they did it was so loud they either didn’t hear me or chose not to acknowledge it. Takeout and lunch have been ok. I’m not planning another evening meal there.

I go there frequently, everything there is always great. Good quality food all round, the broth is rich and flavorful across all of the ramen options, and the appetizers are always incredible. The food comes out quickly and the service is always incredible. Food is reasonably priced, but can get expensive in large groups. Overall, highly recommend it.

Everything at this place is phenomenal from the atmosphere to the service to the food. This is a top notch restaurant. You will not find a better ramen restaurant. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy my wife and mine dates there every other Friday.

The inside is a little cramped, especially when the majority of tables are seated, but the food is good, and some of the dishes have an interesting Amercian take on the Japanese fare. I've been twice. The first time, I was very impressed with my selection, and the second time, I was a bit underwhelmed. I'm definitely willing to go again to figure out which way I fall overall. A solid choice for the adventurous ramen-lover!
